Long overdue for truth to speak to power. Even Trump is now acknowledging the Israelis have gone way to far. Let's see if the MAGA supporters on this forum are able to follow their leader's condemnation after deflecting / denying for so long.

Waaaahey, Trump gets  mention in the first reply

Could a link be provided ?

Not sure I've seen anything from Trump stating explicitly that Isreal has gone too far.

The links provided above don't state that either, but they are from organisations generally thought to be politically left of centre so some might question their reporting.  Here's one from an organisation that is generally thought to be more right-leaning that has reported what Trump recently said.  Interesting to me to note the different tone from the left and right-leaning outlets; left talking about whether Trump thought Netanyahu was lying, the right talking about Netanyahu's denial rather than a lie.

Trump’s first significant break with Israel came on Monday, when he acknowledged that “real starvation” is happening in Gaza and vowed to set up food centers in the besieged enclave, which has been devastated by Israel’s war with Hamas.

Asked if he agreed with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s denials of the Gaza hunger crisis, Trump said: “Based on television, I would say not particularly, because those children look very hungry.”

This is why I'm usually reluctant to answer MAGA question as often deflection / denial reply. I say you're splitting hairs.  As noted above, from Trumps' comments it is blindingly obvious Trump (including his wife) are very unhappy with the food supply issues in Gaza whilst noting the images of starving children - my words - don't lie and are disturbing

When did Donald say that ?

He said acknowledging .....it wasn't an exact statement....these are...

“Based on television, I would say not particularly, because those children look very hungry.”

•  “Some of those kids are — that’s real starvation stuff.”

•  “I told Bibi that you have to maybe do it a different way.”

•  “I see it, and you can’t fake that.”

Nonsense. Trump's statement infered Israel has gone to far with it's aid blockage, All you're doing is the usual deflect. Thankfully the Israelis are now permitting some extra aid, including air drops, but still totally insufficient. Israel has lost a great deal of goodwill due to it's over the top response to Hamas by way of killing innocents and human rights abuses / war crimes. Not going to respond any further to yet another MAGA with eyes firmly closed to reality.

starvation

Sure just like the fake news NY Times reported, typical lying democrats trying to spread propaganda and mis-information for purely political purposes same as they do about President Trump. Democrats will stoop as low as it takes to smear, lie, deceit, mis/dis-inform, propagandize, cover-up in delivering their fake news to their brainwashed liberal sheep followers.

On Monday night, Marjorie Taylor Greene became the first Republican member of Congress to brand Israel’s actions in Gaza as “genocide”. Posting on X, the lawmaker broke with Trump on the issue: “October 7 in Israel was horrific, and all hostages must be returned”, she wrote. “But so is the genocide, humanitarian crisis, and starvation happening in Gaza.”

Trump is on the ropes as Maga turns against Israel
