In short, XI continues to give Trump the middle finger, as do most other major trade partners. It are only the third world countries, that only can lose if tariffs are applied, that give in to Trump's bullying.

BTW, these 2 guys remind me of the two that do the AN video reports 🤣🤣

No tariff pause announced after US-China talks, with Trump set to make the 'final call'

US and Chinese negotiators wrapped up two days of talks Tuesday without an immediate announcement of a further tariff delay between the world’s two largest economies as markets watch closely for an offramp to avert additional duties that could be in the offing in about two weeks' time.

Bessent added that negotiators didn't discuss a face-to-face gathering between the two presidents and that the focus was on policy from Russian oil consumption to rare earth minerals to Chinese export controls and "not to discuss if there would be a meeting."

Trump added Tuesday he remains hopeful he will meet with Xi "before the end of the year."

TBH, every president going back to Reagan needs to go to jail for what they gave away to China, especially the Clintons and the Bushes.

Don't know what you mean with gave away, but the low prices certainly were to the advantage of the majority of US citizens.

Think about it this way.

Our parents earned a lot less than what the average person earns now, although they also had their own house, much fewer debts, and overall were much happier.

I agree they couldn't, or didn't have the need, to go on a holiday 4 times a year to most expensive destinations, so they could brag about on social media.

They also didn't have 2 or 3 cars on the driveway, and more of those things.

I guess they also not continuously complained that their salary was insufficient for all the luxuries they wanted.

Inflation and high prices are a man made creation.
