Lazada verification now only by sms ?

I use a pc, and things have been going fine for at least a year. The only thing I've noticed is an annoying change to the page for tracking your orders. The font has gone GIGANTIC, making it impossible to see at a glance where it is. I've minimized the web page font size as much as possible, it still sucks a wet fart. Anyone else notice that?

Just logged on via the laptop after reading the above and no verification just log (tel number and password pre saved) in and went to track my order and all is as usual.  Using win 11 with edge, NO VPN only one adblocker.

  • Still they could have left in the verification by email. Discriminating against people without smartphone. Just like shopee.

I think it just comes down to individual preference - Its not 'harder' to use the Apps...  It's just a lot easier to read everything on laptop sized screen...  its easier to see the images, zoom in, c

Move to using the app or it will only get more difficult for you

I use Lazada the other way round. Search on the app and save things in the wish list. Then use the online version in a browser with translation ability to get the details and check it is what I want, move to cart and buy, either online or via the app later. Their website search is rubbish compared to their app.

If the OP gets the app, he can authenticate an oniine sign-in via the app. Faster than sms method.

Using the app and Google Lens for translation is quick and easy

Try it and let us know how it goes

Have logged in several times today using pre saved email on laptop so no problems. Occasionally get a too much traffic message and want to verify by sliding the icon but no other problems.

People that use apps (and complain about us who use a PC) are the same as those with EV's, they need  confirmation to their choices.

I always use Lazada on the PC to scroll through listings, but use the app to place orders, so I can get discounts. I order very little from Lazada lately, because most of the stuff has to be returned for one or another reason.

If I haven't logged in for a long time I also get that sms request, but there is an option to select a different method

From your previous post it seems you order the cheapest item possible, but then complain here when it's not what you expected, like it's the sellers fault

Oh my personal stalker following me around on every thread, throwing some insults.

Is that really the best you can do Frankie?

Haven't you noticed yet that most of your posts disappear? Must be a reason for that

Difficult you say, The app's on the phones are a big Pain hopeless to use .

I think they prefer you to use the app. or their system is now geared more that way.

As with most platforms...

What's your problem? Your cell phone number must be registered with your passport. This allows for a simple ID check. If you don't like this, it suggests you have something to hide.

Maybe slightly off topic. I was buying things at Temu recently and was happy with the things I bought, and then they started giving you stupid puzzles to log in, so I gave them up completely.

Agree. Even the websites that only give you strange characters to read give me gyp. However, if you keep clicking they seem to give you an easier one to read! Only yesterday I was made aware of shopping website; www.DHgate.com You might find it interesting?

Thanks, I will have a look through it.
