A 34-year-old man was found dead after reportedly jumping from a telecommunications tower in the early hours of 3 August in the Wang Phrao area of Ko Kha district, Lampang province.

Emergency responders from Rescue Unit 205 and Unit 302, along with Wang Phrao Municipal Rescue Team, Ko Kha Police Station investigators, and a duty doctor from Ko Kha Hospital, were called to the scene at approximately 03:00.

The incident occurred near Ban Wang Phrao in Wang Phrao Subdistrict. Upon arrival, rescue personnel discovered the lifeless body of a man beneath the signal tower. Initial reports suggest the man had jumped from the tower.

Officers from Rescue Unit 205 and 302 conducted fingerprinting at the scene, and the case was handed over to the investigator on duty at Ko Kha Police Station. The body was then transferred by Wang Phrao Municipality rescue workers to the forensic department at Lampang Hospital for a full autopsy.

Authorities have not yet released the man’s name, and the circumstances leading to the incident remain under investigation.
