Grand Jury Convened

I'm reading that the GJ will be impaneled in FLorida.

If true ,its huge!

Since this is a federal investigation, it’s likely to be convened in Washington, D.C., or another federal district with jurisdiction over national security and intelligence matters.

Who Decides the Grand Jury Location?

•  Federal prosecutors choose the venue based on:

  ◦  Where the alleged crime occurred

  ◦  Where key witnesses or evidence are located

  ◦  Jurisdictional relevance (e.g., national security cases often go through Washington, D.C.)

•  The DOJ’s Criminal Division may also weigh in for high-profile or politically sensitive cases.

If it does switch to Florida it stinks of the politicalisation of the DOJ even more than anything that has gone before......oh! apart from ....whoops......there are no Epstein files.

The FBI will be knocking on a lot of doors over the next few months.    It only takes one whistleblower to crash them all.

Correct again. And it may look at the evidence and bust out laughing.

I've said I don't expect any big names to be jailed. I don't really think the GJ is aimed at jailing people - I think it's aimed at "rogue" elements of the Intelligence communities.

And I don't expect any of them to be jailed either. I think it's a shot across the bow of the Intelligence services saying "you are not beyond reach."

74, she only has to outlive Trump and that will not be hard. Everyone send Burger King coupons to the White House.

Well, trump certainly seems to be partially above the law as he's not been tried and convicted for treason yet.

Guess because he never committed treason. Like he was a Russian asset

Statute of limitations applies to the last criminal act in ongoing offense acts so the fact the conspiracy began in 2016 is irrelevant for those who continued to participate, testify to Congress, be interviewed by Special Prosecutors etc

I'm reading from retired Federal Prosecutors the primary interest of the DoJ are the law firms and companies known to be involved in this imbroglio.

I still don't expect anyone senior to get jailed - the job just now is to scare whistleblowers into compliance. One pulled thread could unravel this entire fiasco.

You could make a RICO case out of the public information. Watch the rats start squealing

Well, Michelle is definitely gonna leave Obama now. Last thing she wants is to be married to a jailbird.

From the linked foxnews report  above:

It is unclear whom the grand jury is expected to target and what charges could be in play given the statutes of limitations for much of the activity from nearly a decade ago have lapsed.

No, the statute of limitations have not expired since it is an ongoing conspiracy. and statute dates are refreshed with any overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy. The first one that comes to mind is the FBI raid at MAL and being in Florida, Pam Bondi's recently convened grand jury is rumored to be taking place in the state of Florida bypassing the democrat infused and anti-Trump biased jury pool in DC. This will be a big win for the prosecution.

If true, pop the Champagne bottles on Florida & the conspiracy continuing  to be charged despite statue's of limitations controversy by the left.

The party of 20 somethin % will be fuming  hate even more.

The left will melt even further if the destroyer/exposers of Jack Smith was in charge of anything related to Obamagate/Russiagate.

The conspirators will get a fair trial in Florida.

Correct.

And that's why a Grand Jury will decide whether or not to indict.

That's how it works..

Rather as happened with various Grand Juries which led to various inditements against Mr Trump then?

Didn't he end up with a variety of convictions as a result?

And look at the Smug Vance! Like Turley said in my previous post, Bondi got evidence.

Yes, What the majority of Americans are asking right now is: Where is the accountability? And they deserve answers.

The question however is more probably, was the President "a player" in Epstein's teenage girls sex fest, and if so where is the accountability?

The probable answers, yes and no.

Well that would result in considerable financial savings - she would be able to combine the roles of judge, prosecutor and jury!

Are you alleging that Trump exploited underage girls? If so, why didnt the Dems release it?
