Chonburi Provincial Police Commander, Police Major General Thawatchi Jindakwarnsanong, has ordered a crackdown on illegal activities at a pool villa in the Jomtien Beach area.

Acting on a warrant issued by Pattaya Provincial Court, Police Colonel Phasakorn Paijit, head of the Chonburi Provincial Investigation Unit, led a team of officers to conduct a raid on the property.

Authorities arrested 26 Chinese nationals suspected of operating a high-interest online lending operation. The suspects were found to be residing in Thailand on tourist and student visas without valid work permits.

During the raid, police seized two laptops, 52 mobile phones, 77 pages of financial records written in Chinese and over 80,000 baht in cash.

All suspects have been charged under the law and face additional penalties for overstaying their visas. The investigation is ongoing.

Is it my imagination or does the word Chinese always appear just before or after the word ARRESTED in the news?

Deport them or jail them , it doesn't matter ,  they will be replaced in a day or two.

Just ban ALL Chinese - job done
