Passenger Dragged Off Plane by Authorities After Allegedly Fighting with Cabin Crew Over Turning Off Her Cellphone

The alleged incident happened on an Ibom Air flight, leading the woman to be banned from flying with the airline

The incident occurred on Sunday, Aug. 10 on an Ibom Air aircraft that was traveling from the Victor Attah International Airport in Uyo to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, the airline confirmed in a statement shared on Facebook.

The airline identified the passenger as Ms. Comfort Emmanson, claiming that her "conduct posed a serious threat to the safety" of crew, passengers and the aircraft.

It can't be beyond the wit of man to have a centralised data base that prevents these morons from ever flying again.

I think Ill cross Lagos off my list of vacation places

"If nothing at all, the episodes have undoubtedly helped to raise public awareness about appropriate conduct within the aviation space".

And if you create chaos, disrupt flights,  ruin peoples travel plans.....all you have to do is grovel and say sorry.

Wow! People will really think twice now about kicking off if they have to say sorry.

How about a international shared database for all those unruly, banned from flying ? Because currently the ban's are only specific to each airline.

But let's not forget the situations that often put safety at threat when the plane is airbone. Drunk passengers regularly pose a threat in planes all over the world. Airlines would need to stop serving booze on board.

I would take this a step further in having a quick and mandatory breathalizer check on any individual (passenger or crew), before boarding to travel on a plane. Sorry to all the drunks who will obviously get inflamed with this suggestion.
