A 14-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being shot multiple times in a shocking escalation over a dispute involving designer clothing in Pattaya.

 

Police at Pattaya City Station, Chonburi Province, were alerted early on 12 August that a teenager had been critically injured in a shooting. The boy, identified as Porsch, was rushed to Pattaya Hospital where doctors and nurses worked to save his life. 

 

He had been shot with a shotgun, with over 20 pellets lodged in his abdomen, leaving him in a coma. He was later transferred to Chonburi Hospital for further treatment, accompanied by his mother and friends.

 

Speaking through tears, Porsch’s mother, Phensiri, 45, said she received a frantic call from one of her son’s friends at around 04:05, informing her that he had been shot. She rushed to the hospital to find her son in critical condition, undergoing emergency surgery.

 

The incident reportedly stemmed from a confrontation over the return of an expensive designer shirt. Porsch and two friends had gone to a pre-arranged meeting near the Bali Hai Lighthouse, Pattaya South, to return the item. Upon arrival, they were allegedly ambushed by a rival group in a pick-up truck, who opened fire. The attackers then fled the scene immediately.

 

Police on site reviewed CCTV footage showing the group of teenagers gathered on the roadside at 02:32, followed by a bronze-coloured pick-up circling the area twice. At 04:03, the teenagers rode motorcycles together when the truck followed closely and shots were fired before the vehicle sped away.

 

Deputy Superintendent Arut Sathanont of Pattaya Police confirmed that the two friends, both minors, had been interviewed and that the incident arose from a dispute over the designer shirt. He assured that the police know the identities of the assailants and are actively pursuing them to face legal action.

Did he have her permission to be out (on a motorbike) at 4:05?
