Trucking personal items from Pattaya to Phnom Penh

Featured Replies

ChatGPT quotes $400 to $800 for a small moving truck or large pickup truck. I just have a studio's worth of personal items... does this sound about right?

I'm not too worried about theft due to the item value, so is it fine to fly and meet the driver in Phnom penh?

How can the truck pass a closed border?

I'll mount an LMG on the back

Or we could wait until it reopens. Even if it takes a year

K Mile Air does a daily cargo run to PP. With the boycott of Thai goods, they might be willing to take any cargo they can get to make it worth while

Perhaps consider getting quotes from commercial freight companies to crate and send rather than a DIY approach?  The freight company would deal with all the customs etc. formalities so less hassle for you.  Depending on how much there is to move it could also be cheaper.

All land borders ARE CLOSED and any products made in Thailand ARE BANNED. If you fly with your belongings, you could get a grilling from Cambodian Customs.
