Well, it’s usually multiple Thai Attacking a foreigner, sometimes drunk over - usually padded  bar bill,  Or claims of rented Scooter damage that didn’t really exist. Violently hurting him with no remorse.
I guess this time it was reversed  But I’m sure there was a reason which isn’t Being highlighted or listed,  and I’m sure there’s a large story behind it that isn’t being told

looking at logically foreigners do not gang up to pick on someone for no reason out of the blue. There’s more to the story than it’s being told.

Today’s Farang apologist of the day goes to whiskey!

Fury Erupts After Foreigners Brutally Assault Local in Patong.

I understand that assaults are very wrong .

What did happen and what was the reason for the assault .

What did go wrong ,did the Thai do something Wrong or the foreigners.

We all know what the Thais are doing in the tourist area ,double, triple charging ,

Absurd traffic behavior, Gouging people who  hired rented vehicles for damages that were there before .

Most times it's the other way , 10 coward Thais against 1or 2 Tourists.

Nothing much is said about this most times.

Once again, the bckground and context is not peovided.

Once again, no mention of the. tourist court that was supposed to be in place.

Let's face it, most of the Farangs that go to Phuket are alcoholics and behave like animals

The old exaggerating of damage prices, the client should have said OK I take to shop and repair, very cheap if you know good repair shop saved myself thousands of Bhat when hit bike years ago but tourists would find it hard to do, bike was parked and I just broke the mirror, they demanded big money but the bike shop came around and took the bike away, 1200 Bhat new mirror and moulding. They were pddd off.

"This is not an isolated incident. Just days ago, on August 12, a similar scene unfolded when foreigners attacked two Thai men, one a motorcycle rental shop owner, over a compensation dispute.  The violence erupted after a foreigner allegedly crashed a rental bike and rejected the owner's demand for 50,000 baht, offering only 10,000 baht instead. Although a district chief assured justice, further details remain undisclosed."

Can one assume that the renter signed a rental document?

Can one assume that the rental document included a clause on accident insurance?

Can one assume that the renter assumed that any damage to the motorcycle was covered by accident insurance, and thus he/she did not have to pay for the damage?

So many unanswered questions which should have been answered in the news report.

Why are there faces blurred out ? was it so the identity would be confirmed ?. What did the shop keeper do to deserve this , why did the locals not step in, if it was a Falang would he be protected by locals .

A shocking street fight in Phuket has once again put a spotlight on law enforcement in Thailand. A viral video captured foreigners attacking a Thai man outside a restaurant in Patong, stirring outrage on social media.

While I don't condone violence, it would be nice to know why the conflict took place.

Lets have the whole story.

Phuket is going like Pattaya for trouble in bars fighting and somon

Before years back Phuket was the place to go tourist wise

Since the influx of Russians and others it is spiralling to a place no one wants to go

Plus the Authorities Ie Police immigration officers not doing their jobs in ensuring Tourists safety

Not so much the Russians, but Euro Arabs causing problems

"The clip shows the Thai man hiding under a table while three to four foreign men surround and assault him. "

Now there's a change - only 3 or 4? If the boot was on the other foot there'd be at least half a dozen! Hence the "outrage" :- "Why were there not more Thais jumping to his defence?

The report is rather vague, but one thing you can 💯 be sure of is they are most definitely not any of my clan. If they were Brits, the first word in the headline would be “Brits”

Got to agreee!

We need more videos of 10 Thais attacking one farang.  Then we can listen to these guys complain some more.  Hope the next video has 20 Thais attacking one guy.

Just hang around the bars in Pattaya in the early hours for a couple of days - it'll happen!

It's the junk media outlets that put the spotlight on these incidents and not the incidents themselves. Who cares what keyboard warriors think (netizens)?

Just to clear up some nonsense presented in this report. Thais do help each other, every chance they get. I can't count how many mass bashings foreigners have received at the hands of big groups of Thai people in Pattaya, in street brawls often started by Security personnel.

These "netizens" making comments are fools with no understanding of the real world outside their closed doors.

This situation has nothing to do with laws or police enforcement. The police cannot be present instantly at every street brawl. The law only comes into play in court, once the assailants have been arrested and charged. There's nothing wrong with Thai laws, but it takes time, just as it does in most other countries. If caught, whoever is guilty of assault will be charged and processed through the court.

Thai police fail to understand that by being LENIENT of foreigners committing crimes, they are stoking

ANTI FOREIGNER emotions. They are also NOT giving Justice to the Victim(s) of these crimes. The man who was popping wheelies that killed a Thai lady is OUT ON BAIL !! Why ? He's a Definite flight risk.

Looks like farangs miffed with getting ripped off could be the root cause here is my guess🤔

Low class blokes who think violence is a solution.

Unfortunately far too many young men think that being able to beat someone up is an indicator of their masculinity.

They all want to be "swole" (muscled up) and they all think they are MMA fighters.

They probably have 3 o-levels between them and have no idea how to be decent, respectful humans.  Except to their Mum's who probably think they're "lovely boys".

They and everyone even remotely related to them should be put on an international ban list so they can never travel internationally.  Let their family who would be banned from ever travelling for being related to them, be the ones that punish them.

Yet i see time and again 10 Thais beating one tourist. Chasing hitting kicking and brawling.

They are cowards.

Honestly its sickening to watch thai men hitting females, like beating the hell out of them. Also beating up foreigners, kicking kids, its endless.

...but not evidenced in this OP, at all.
