Weak Flow

Featured Replies

I remember reading about this that somebody said to get Saw palmetto which help them are there any other things I can order online that would help improve the flow thank you in advance

That's likely  the beginning of a long story.

For years I used all kinds of "natural" stuff to no avail.

You should check with a urologist to begin with.

Determine size of prostate (ultrasound) and blood check PSA level.

Depending on your situation you might come through for many years with certain vessel/muscle relaxing medication.

For me it ended with minimal invasive TURP operation. Still no fun stuff.

For less grown prostate there are other methods available. Not cheap if no insurance covers.

Came to Thailand 2011 with prostate size 50 and ended up in 2023 at 130 before operation.

Tons of threads and posts here.

Effective medication is available over the counter.

Just forgot the names.

Would have to check.

Stinging Nettle Route also helps, but not good for you if you have kidney disease.

That and Saw Palmetto shrunk my prostate by 30% in 2 years.

Silodosin, sold under the Urief brand name, is available over the counter for relief of BPH symptoms.

But be sure to see a urologist first and certainly have a PSA test to rule out something more problematic.

Yeah I’m asking for a neighbor he’s like 83 years old and I thought I read something here about two different things that would help him thanks for your

One of the medications that often helps is Doxazosin (2 mg / 4 mg).

Cheap over the counter.

An alpha blocker used for BPH but also high blood pressure.

Do you take other medications?

Bit really: consult a urologist and determine your status.

There are several alpha-blockers. They are all OTC but should not be taken without talking to a urologist first.

Standard is Tamsulosin, expensive here.

Silodosin is usually considered stronger, depends on the patient.

Doxazosin is an old and cheap one,  it helps some people better but it's usually not the first choice.

The second standard medication is Tadalafil (Cialis) 5mg daily. Available here, but not OTC. Easily available anywhere where there is farang-oriented nightlife (brand Apcalis from India).

Talk to a urologist first.

All of these medications will lower the blood pressure, so a 83y.o. should not buy them without doctors advice.
