Thinking of using Siamese Visa Service for a Retirement Visa.

Featured Replies

Thinking of using Siamese Visa Service for a Retirement Visa.  I haven't found anything online about them positive or negative. Are they legit and problem free? Just asking for due diligence and peace of mind. If anybody has any experience with them (good or not so good) please let me know so I can make an informed decision.

Thanks in advance.

There are literally HUNDREDS of agents scattered around thailand, and most are really regional (other than Thai Visa Centre which operates country wide).

I personally haven't heard of them but that doesn't mean anything either for or against them. It just means that I never heard of them before.

How about a couple of answers first;

  • What is your nationality?
  • Where you are in thailand?
  • What stamp are you on now (if you're here)?
  • When does that stamp run out?

and (most importantly)

  • Can you meet the proof of funds on your own are you using an agent so they will bank the funds for you?

I'm not trying to be nosy but trying to hash out what you're here on and what you're trying to do is all

You need to answer the questions in the first post above for complete advice.

Added question to those already suggested.

: do you have Thai bank bank account in your name only.

: are you planning to supply own money for financial compliance.

Hello, thank you for your responses. Currently on an Elite ending soon in a couple months. Bank account with 800k for more than 3 months check. In BKK.

Many thanks

OK. Your situation is specific.

Some would think that contacting PE company would be first step however some posts have stated they can be unhelpful.

@richard_smith237 may have some advice.

Also you mention that you actually have the required funds for obtaining the Non O + subsequent annual extensions.

Location in Thailand?

I have the funds. Location in BKK, living in rented apt on a lease.

You seem to have all in place to shift from PE to Non O.

Here is thread re change to Non B.

Hopefully you do not need to exit Thailand for the process.

You've lost me there.
OP stated retirement > Non O > Extension.
He never mentioned work, so why after stating shift from PE to Non O, you post a link to a topic changing from PE to Non B with WP?

Indeed. I added wrong link (slip up)

Hopefully the OP will obtain first hand advice for pathway from current PE (soon to expire) to Non O (retirement) .

Thinking he may need to exit Thailand.

Good thing is he has financials in place and thai bank account.

Perhaps there is better option however he could obtain Non O outside of Thailand.

Then simply obtain 12 month extension ongoing after entry with the Non O

Sorry to hijack thread but tried unsuccessfully to begin my own..... does anyone know of good visa agent to obtain thai citizen a short stay visa for Australia. I did try Manaret Travel but they do not do. Thanks for any help.

Apologies, should have included that I reside in Pattaya.

The is a sub forum "visas to other countries"

Suggest you post there.

I assisted my Thai partner for tourist visa to Oz.

Did it by myself. Not very difficult.

Crucial is how long you have know the Thai National and compelling reason to return to Thailand
