I am stuck with transferring my monthly pension via WISE as I have always done for several years, to my Bangkok Bank account.

 

The money was transferred from my UK account to WISE but then “ cancelled “ saying bank account details are incorrect and the money will be refunded 

to my UK account.

 

 I have been reading that some have experienced problems with Bangkok Bank and I am wondering if this is the case?

 

Any advice would be welcomed and also any alternative suggestions.

Change Bank

Have a look in the banking area.  Lots of stories and possible solutions.

Why not just transfer direct from your UK bank to Bangkok Bank?

Because the issue is not with WISE.....which is noticeably cheaper and quicker than bank to bank.

 

 

Consider having the payment sent direct from the pension provider to your Thai bank account - if you don't mind losing control over when you remit the funds.

OK, I read it that WISE had cancelled the payment.

I"ll transfer this to the Banking forum.

I wonder whether the OP's issue stems from the possibility that he has not (yet) updated his SIM card registration on the basis of the last 4 digits of his existing passport number, as referred to in the following thread:
