It is a Thai site. Fox hunting is not an issue in Thailand.

Here we go I've always known Aussies are the most racist folks on earth - you just proved it - fella.

The racist label is the typical, dishonest ad hominem argument trotted out when I post unpalatable facts.

I speak Thai, live here, and have been with my Thai GF for 15 years.

No point in arguing with an idiot, bye now.

You're complaining about foxes? How about the daily Trump topics?

Trumpanomics affects the whole planet, and specifically American expats. Fox hunting in Australia barely affects the foxes, much less anyone in Thailand.

Foxes are vermin, introduced by moronic upper-class tw!ts from Britain. They prey on native wildlife in Australia.

Every animal has its rightful place in the world; none should be deemed illegal.

Using that kind of logic, there still should be wolves and brown bears in the British Isles.

Wolves and brown bears would still roam the British Isles today if it weren’t for the relentless hunting and persecution by the white man.

Tigers and elephants would still be roaming Java, if it was not for the relentless hunting and persecution by Indonesians.

Does this really excuse the wrongdoings of white man?

In Victoria, about 650 foxes are killed each year, in traditional hunts with hounds. IIRC Oscar Wilde dubbed it the unspeakable in pursuit of the inedible. About 90,000 are killed annually as part a government bounty on vermin, by professional hunters.

This raises serious concerns about the violent tendencies exhibited by certain white males. Hunting, in its essence, is an unjustifiable killing for mere recreation, reflecting a disturbing disregard for life.

I'm supposed to go on a guilt trip for being white? You've come to the wrong address.

Think of what whites have brought to the world. For example, no other racial group developed the laws of thermodynamics, which govern all our lives.

Thermodynamics does not make the white man a noble person.  The white man must own their crimes against humanity.

I signed a petition last night to stop this cowardly Fox hunting in Australia

Apparently English people are going to Australia to fox hunt these poor babies

I saw a beautiful black fox and just wanted to cuddle it

I don't know how you people that murder these beautiful creatures can sleep

Why aren't they made into pets ?

I would like to adopt and rang the RSPCA in Australia this morning, where I rudely fobbed off

I later found out the RSPCA are on the news for corruption in Australia

I hope all you guys sign the petitions to stop this cruel Barbarians

A big salute to you for your compassion for animals.  🙂

And you are mistaken. They are wonderful, much-misunderstood creatures who live in the shadows of human existence. They make great parents, are skilled hunters, and are highly socializedarguably more intelligent than cats and dogs. In many ways, it’s like they run “cat software” on “dog hardware.”

I’ve had a family living under my neighbor’s shed for four years now, raising cubs, and I study them nightly both in person and with trail cameras. My logo is that of Ajax . the most intelligent and beautiful vixen I had the pleasure of knowing over three years. You to many aborigines are the vermin - Britain's unwanted crimninals transported to a virgin territoty to carry on their deviant behaviour on the hope of freedomn by genociding the natives in some of the cruellest and most barbaric ways possible. If only they had had guns and modern weapons....

What he said might have been a tad harsh, but invasive species do cause a lot of damage to indigenous wildlife. There's a reason they try to keep these invasives out, as they do go after native species, some of which are protected and endangered, yet they fit in in their native habitat well, as nature has done that job. Man is the worst invasive species, destroying habitat for these animals for profit, but there isn't an easy way to stop the rich who don't care about tomorrow. Foxes are indeed a good animal, in their native habitat, as they eat rodents which are some of the worst animals on the planet, spreading diseases and invading homes. Look at what the anacondas and pythons are doing in Florida and you'll understand they don't belong there, but it's the dumbasses that can't take care of them when they get big that let them go into areas where they cause a lot of problems with the native fauna. Ans also the Snakeheads, which eat anything they can, including prized fish species.

Hunting, in it's essence, is a pastime from since time began, carried out now for some of the same reasons. Wild game is some of the leanest, tastiest and healthiest meats to eat, with no added hormones or steroids. Hunting is a necessity in many areas, as humans have over developed much of their habitat, yet the animals will still reproduce, and with that increased population comes more car accidents, many of them fatal, attacks on humans, spreading of disease from too many animals being too close to each other, and over grazing of the habitat that's left for them to live on. People will never stop developing land, so the animals must be harvested to keep the population within it's carrying capacity. A lot of this meat is given, by hunters, to homeless shelters besides feeding their own families. Also, it isn't only white males that hunt but all races and both genders.

No animals should be classified as illegal unless they are introduced into areas where they aren't indigenous. Then they have to be removed, and hunting and trapping are the only humane ways. Animals like bears, wolves, tigers, and others are poached for profit, and this needs to be stopped with extreme penalties, as they are in Africa now, but legitimate hunting to control the population growth is a necessity in many areas. Too many of one and not enough of another species causes habitat destruction and dangers too humans and other species.

I lived in the English countryside for many years, shooting a couple of pheasant every weekend, hanging them in my attic for a week and then skinning/degutting them.  The meat tasted great but it was the only time that I took up smoking a cigar as I disembowelled them 🙂

I used to catch magpies using a Larsen trap (live female magpie in the trap to attract other magpies). Magpies kill song birds, so I had no remorse about killing them.  Mind you they would give me the evil eye as I twisted theiir heads round and round until their necks broke...

There was plenty of fox hunting with hounds in my neck of the woods, both in Buckinghamshire and on Exmoor.  Although I rode horses a lot as a kid, I never rode with the hounds, but I 100% understood the need to control the population of various animals, especially those who prey on others.

It's a pity that the same rule isn't applied to the human race.
