Authorities in Chaiyaphum have arrested the owner of a local karaoke bar for allegedly recruiting underage girls for sexual services. The operation was conducted by Thailand’s Department of Special Investigation’s Anti-Human Trafficking Division (DSI-AHT), following a tip-off about the illegal activities.

 

On 5 September, Pol. Col. Sarawut Chantarawong, Superintendent of Division 3, led officers, including Pol. Lt. Col. Prawet Saengprom, to investigate Chaba Kaew Karaoke in Phu Khiao district. Acting on intelligence that girls under 18 were being coerced into prostitution, the authorities deployed an undercover operative to pose as a customer.

 

During the operation, the bar owner, Ms. Sirada “Nok”, 48, reportedly offered sexual services from a 17-year-old girl, referred to as Ms. B, at a rate of 1,800 baht. According to reports, Ms. Sirada would have received 300 baht from the transaction. Once the payment was made, the officers revealed their identities and arrested Ms. Sirada, while also rescuing Ms. B and other underage female employees who had allegedly been offered for sexual services previously.

 

During questioning, Ms. Sirada admitted employing underage girls and knowingly profiting from their sexual exploitation. She has been formally charged with human trafficking, specifically “organising, procuring, selling, or facilitating sexual services involving persons over 15 but under 18 years of age.”

 

The case is currently being handled by the Anti-Human Trafficking Division, with further legal proceedings pending.

Teen girls love to buy trinkets which is why it was so easy for Maxwell to keep Epstein's stables full.  Coercion wasn't involved if mamasan only took 300 baht for herself but it's more convenient to allege coercion than to admit that many young women are skanks.
