Best Water Filtration system for Thailand ?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have experience using a Water Filtration system ?
What is the best one to get the cleanest and best drinking water ?

I put in a 5-stage undersink filter from HomePro (about 6,000 Baht these days) that filters down to .3 microns. Between the UV light and good filter media, it removes or kills off all the bad stuff. The carbon trap removes any bad tastes from the water. With just the two of us using it, we only need to change the filter cartridges every year or so. (About 500 Baht) The water tastes MUCH better than anything out of the bottles from 7-Eleven.
I installed the filter and tap myself (I am not a handyman), taking less than 20 minutes to do it, but HomePro will install for free if you ask.

I chose this style of filtration over 'Reverse Osmosis' systems as the RO removes ALL MINERALS from the water, making it taste flat, and one really needs to supplement mineral intake when depending on RO.

Reverse osmosis.
