Recently read an article (one of many) about a guy in the US who was exonerated by a judge (and awarded $20K) after being suspended from school for using the term "illegal alien" in class.

 

The lefties have been cancelling, firing and suspending people for conservative, legal speech for years.  And now they're butthurt because they're on the receiving end, and sanity is returning.

 

A federal judge issued an order Tuesday settling the legal dispute between the Davidson County school board and a former student suspended after he used the words "illegal alien" in class.

 

The order confirms that the settlement includes a public apology to Christian McGhee, the removal of any reference to racial bias in his school records, and a $20,000 payment to his family.

While she lost her job, unfortunately the police refused to prosecute. I suspect in the US police will take a similarly lenient view of leftist hate speech, so at least these people should lose their jobs.

Once again we are seeing two tier 'so called' justice in the UK!

It appears that  hate crime doesn't apply to leftwing councilors.
