We would all be brainwashed....

Featured Replies

Charlie Kirk at his best...
Some of his arguments are exactly my thoughts, what I had been saying, to anyone who thought that Trump was not good for America.

Might also prove my point that we are all 'brainwashed', one way or another. The only reason I see that can explain why my thoughts are so much similar to the thoughts of Charlie Kirk, is that we have been interested in similar content, similar narratives, coming from the WEB.

I have been saying that we should 'WAIT', and see the results of the policies of Trump. Just wait. This is what Kirk is saying.

The Sociology teacher seems to say that Trump is putting America's economy at 'RISK', particularly with the tariffs. So he says that 'risk' is bad. Go tell that to any business person, who had to 'risk' when starting a business. Starting with:
"Successful American business figures include tech pioneers like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos, and Larry Page, who founded major companies such as Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Google, respectively. Other influential figures include retail innovator Sam Walton, media and philanthropic leader Oprah Winfrey, and investor Warren Buffett, known for leading Berkshire Hathaway. These individuals have transformed industries, built vast wealth, and made significant cultural impacts.".

And this is why Charlie Kirk tells this PhD teacher to listen to him, a grade 12 student, as he is about to teach this teacher some valuable lessons...

And the title of the debate video is somewhat misleading, as it suggests that Americans no longer trusts so called experts. I do keep a list of "Knowledge experts", and the experts suggested in this debate are not part of that list... (My list....Hitchens-Harris-Murray-Dawkins-Dillahunty-Shapiro etc) A knowledge expert has to be someone who studies extensively both sides of a subject. Charlie Kirk did. The sociology professor seems brainwashed into one side of the subject, ignoring anything that was not part of his learning. And this is why Charlie Kirk warns people about the effect of going through College and Universities. Students must complement their learning with studying other content on their own. General knowledge subjects. Most people do not. And this is why the Sociology professor mentions (unwittingly I hope) that a 'risk' in bad in its intrinsic nature. Must have smirked at all business administration teachers when walking down the corridors of his University...

Thanks Charlie, the world was so much better when you were part of it, even though your legacy remains...

But then there are other kinds of brainwashing. Students in Amsterdam.

Stunned the interviewer.

A student claims that Charlie Kirk deserved his fate, because 'He was controversial', and should not have been on a platform. Amazingly stupid.

Just about al politicians are 'controversial', simply as a result of the polarization of ideologies. All politicians have to fight this polarization in all elections. So they are controversial. So would deserve to be assassinated for that, according to these students.

Religions are polarized. Priests, Imams, Gurus etc. fight to obtain followers. So they are controversial. Should they be eliminated....

Since we all end up brainwashed, let's just hope that our brainwashing includes respect, courtesy and civility. Not given to all.

People need to make the sacrifice and "buy USA" and the tariffs will work.  USA manufacturing & jobs will increase.

Will it work when allies and no allies  turns away from USA, and takes the sacrifices to reestablish new world order and economic independent from USA? That’s the end result of forcing and threatening business partners.

There is a crossing point, or a dead end to it he is pushing it to far

That seems to be what non americans here say they are doing whilst consuming american products. Where do people get their entertainment if not for USA and japan for their gaming?

Not a real problem for USA, as can feed & energize itself.  Few countries can.   If all wanted to play the 'isolation' game, but not going to happen.   BRICS & ASEAN prove that, and alliances will always be formed.

Not talking about the fake NATO BS, and scare mongering for profits.  But trade alliances.

But see your point, hence lots of negotiation going forward to find a balance, if ever.  Certainly not in out lifetime.

He doesn't know what he's talking about anyway, there's zero chance the UK, Germany etc will turn away from the US, which is one of the richest markets in the world.

Most American products is produced in some Asian country, not in America, and those products can be replaced.

The mentality against Chinese cars have changed dramatically since Trump started his war with help from Musk, but another reason is Chinese products have actually became comparable competitive.

Once Bagdad and Rome was the world center, as well London, but there is a time for everything.

Do you really believe Europeans, Australians, South Americans, Africans and Asians want to be whipped by USA? Forced to play along?

There is always good to have two thoughts in your heads at once, and not just make lame responses where you dismiss logic where USA suddenly is not the center of the world anymore.

Trump threatened again India and China who got how many people and how big is their marked again? USA is not a long lasting bubble who will be allowed to risk the world economic out of selfish and egoistic reasons.

They could join BRICS but would find that doing business with americans is alot more favorable

Americans are super friendly actually. And the best, they pay their bill on time without haggling ten times like the Chinese or Indians.

There is no chance the UK, Germany etc will turn away from the US market. Too many rich pickings there.
