"We are Athens and Sparta," the prime minister said in a reference to the city states of ancient Greece. Sparta in particular was known for its military-orientated society and warrior caste. "We will have to become Athens and super-Sparta," the Israeli news portal ynetnews quoted the premier as saying.

 

Opposition politicians sharply criticized these remarks. According to Israeli media reports, the main indices on the stock exchange in Tel Aviv slipped on Monday in a reaction to Netanyahu's words.

They should be sanctioned and embargoed..if so there is no way they could produce their own weapons..however this will not happen as the US will supply everything they ask for.

Israel must be very careful at this point as they are losing support around the world. It's gotten to the point where there are very few nations who are still supportive of Israel, and the IDF, and even the US is under alot it pressure. That would put them in dire straits, and very isolated. But, they deserve that, in my opinion.

 

Though I do not advocate for the destruction of the state of Israel, they do barely deserve to exist at this point based upon their recent behavior. They have become the true Middle Eastern terrorist nation.

They build already perfect weapons. The Germans ordered some defense system (iron dome).

The greater threat will be economically. The EU will halt their trade connections and other countries might follow. It's not an easy world for Pariahs.
