Democrats worst ever

Democrats are experiencing significant declines in public confidence and favorability across multiple metrics. A Gallup poll from July 2025 found that Democrats' average confidence in key U.S. institutions dropped to 26%, a new low since tracking began in 1979, while Republicans' confidence rose to 37%. This partisan gap of 11 points is the largest in 46 years of data.

And this loony 26% call the 74% a "cult". Absolutely hilarious🤣😂😅

Time for the 26% to pull their heads out the rabbit hole?

Can't you read?  That's "Democrats' average confidence in key U.S. institutions dropped to 26%", not public confidence in Democrats! 🤣🤣🤣

Meanwhile, here's the Gallup results:

Just showing what their supporters are willing to do for their Democracy is the best polling ,best news contributor, best surrogate, best fundraiser, best dem voter registration for the GOP ,in the history of politics or at least in the last 50 years. Another words secure & protect yourself GOP, and let the Dems be Dems.

Except that this 26% number is erroneous.

The actual numbers from the July Gallup poll are 34% for Dems and 38% for GOP. Not so different.

And 46% lean Dem while 43% lean GOP.

Newsom or the cackling idiot to run for POTUS. Doesn't really matter who it is. Three more years of the "progressive" woke left Democratic Party attacking Trump and not putting forwrd any policies has their future sealed. There will be no move to the centre so there will be no Democrat POTUS come the next election.

From memory the entire forum left assured us there would be no more elections if Trump won.

You will never hear the Dems talk about real issues like rolling back power from the executive branch or dealing with the unsustainable federal budget.  They could even run on fixing the Social Security funding problem.  All the democrats have is I hate Trump, Orange man bad.

Indeed. My bad. I forgot that he's going to be the authoritarian, fascist king before then.

I can't wait for the midterms to pass.   I'll be happy to remind people of their stupid rhetoric.

Study: Democrats Losing Registration Race in All 30 States that Track Party Affiliation — 4.5 Million-Voter Swing Toward GOP

There seems to be much attrition in the Democratic Party since the disastrous fumbling of the last election by old Biden and word salad Kamala.  It seems like it cannot get any worse for them but with left wing proselytizers like Kimmel getting caned, that could be a possibility.

This doesn't take into account the recent attack in Utah and  the many lefties losing it responses either. I've also seen instances of yougins leaving the Dem Party.

"Witnessing the grotesque reaction to Charlie Kirk's murder will have changed decent people. Forever. The far-left has simply forced many reasonable people to wake up and pick a side. And it's not going to be theirs."

From 2020 to 2024. Obsolete data! 🤣

According to the poll touted by the OP, the trend is now reversed, thanks to Trump. 😆

In the second quarter of 2025, an average of 46% of U.S. adults identified as Democrats or said they are independents who lean toward the Democratic Party, while 43% identified as Republicans or said they lean Republican.

That three-percentage-point Democratic advantage compares with a tie between the two parties in the first quarter of 2025, after a four-point Republican lead in the fourth quarter of 2024. Until now, the Republican Party had led or tied in most quarters since 2023.
