Seven-Year-Old Boy Killed by Teacher Reversing Car at School

An incident at a primary school in Pak Chong district, Nakhon Ratchasima, claimed the life of a seven-year-old pupil on 2 October 2025. The boy, was fatally injured when struck by a teacher’s reversing vehicle within the school grounds. He was rushed to hospital but later died from his injuries.

 

According to witnesses, the boy had been playing behind the teacher’s car at the time of the incident. The teacher, unaware of his presence, reversed and hit the child, causing him to fall, before the car’s wheel ran over his body. The impact left him with severe head wounds and heavy bleeding from his mouth and nose.

 

Staff, teachers and emergency responders, administered first aid and performed CPR before transporting the child to Pak Chong Nana Hospital. Despite their efforts, doctors confirmed his death shortly afterwards. Police have launched an investigation to establish the circumstances.

 

Authorities are carrying out detailed questioning of those involved and reviewing the situation under legal procedures. The incident has caused deep distress among teachers, students and parents at the school.
