"Researchers first discovered mRNA in 1961, when they found that treating bacteria with a chemical that blocked RNA synthesis halted protein production. That finding raised the tantalizing possibility that researchers might be able to design mRNA to make any protein they wanted — like a viral protein meant to teach the immune system to fight off infection.  mRNA is especially convenient for vaccine development because it can be manufactured the same way regardless of what protein it codes for. Researchers only have to change the molecular sequence, and that can be done quickly — a helpful feature when trying to keep up with fast-mutating viruses.

That’s a key reason why Moderna and Pfizer turned to mRNA at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, building on decades of foundational work. Since then, federal regulators have approved a Moderna vaccine for respiratory syncytial virus. Companies are also working to develop mRNA-based flu vaccines, and there are earlier-stage studies underway testing an mRNA vaccine for HIV, a virus that has thwarted vaccinologists for decades.

 

How do we know mRNA vaccines work? 

Moderna and Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccines were cleared for use based on large studies that enrolled tens of thousands of volunteers. Moderna’s trial enrolled more than 30,000 volunteers, while Pfizer’s recruited more than 43,000. Some volunteers were randomly assigned to receive a vaccine designed to trigger an immune response to the coronavirus’s spike protein, a surface molecule that allows the virus to latch onto and slip inside of cells. Other participants got a placebo injection. To avoid biasing the study, volunteers weren’t told whether they were given vaccine or placebo, and medical staff administering the shots didn’t know which group their patients were in.

How do we know these vaccines are safe, especially in the long term?

Hundreds of millions of people in the U.S. have gotten mRNA vaccines, and billions of doses have been administered worldwide. That has allowed researchers to scour for side effects too rare to show up in a 30,000-person clinical trial, or that might appear after more than a few months. ... Edwards served on the data and safety monitoring board for Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine trial, and she was a reviewer of an extensive report by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine on Covid-19 vaccine safety. Apart from myocarditis, the more than 300-page report did not find major safety risks connected with the mRNA vaccines. By comparison, side effects such as stroke, bleeding, and Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare autoimmune condition, were linked to AstraZeneca’s vaccine, which uses a modified cold virus to shuttle genetic information coding for the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein into cells."

Study after study, to show how dangerous covid was/is, and post after post to show how good the mRNA vaxxes were. Safe & effective too.

 

Where is the experiment/study/paper to show that a virus is even real? This is the fundamental question. No virus = no disease. No disease = no pandemic. No pandemic = no vaccine.

 

No need to lock down. Unless of course there were other reasons!

I've read hundreds, literally hundreds of posts on this very forum proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that germs don't exist, that disease is "only a theory," that the covids was a scam, the the vaccine jab is a WEF plot to impurify our precious bodily fluids, and that the nice young men in their clean white coats are coming to take us away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-ha!

This is in all likelihood an underestimate, but it's one of the few global estimates I've seen on the numbers of young people who died from COVID:

The number of young people up to age 17 in the U.S., where the record keeping is much better, who died from COVID has been tallied by the CDC at around 1,700.

I suggest you start with taking your own medicine and injecting yourself with all available vaccines (including all the 'new' childhood innoculation shots, as you can never be too careful enough). 

And then - if you still can - let us know how that worked out for you.  

Someone already followed your advice on that -- more 10 times over -- and emerged perfectly fine. A pretty good example of just how safe the mRNA vaccines are overall:

I'm fully updated on my vaccines, thank you. You, OTOH, I would like to bring to the closest hospital and have you "updated', for the benefit of those around you.
