October 10, 2025Oct 10 As mentioned before i use Bayer few drops goes a long way No more ants been in my house 17 years Bayer is the only product that works for me
October 10, 2025Oct 10 I think I have tried most things over the years. I even brought some "Ant Rid" from overseas and the Thai ants didn't even look at it. The little bayer tubes are the only things that worked for me in the end. Chaindrite is also some serious stuff and can be concoted and sprayed around but you want to understand what you're doing with that stuff. I would do the bayer tubes. Little blobs all over the place and if needed and there is somewhere you could spray it that ants cross regularly you could add this as well. Also stop having victim mindset and change to hunter mindset is a small mental shift helpful here. You need to become babayaga for ant kingdom.

They're in a cardboard box, maybe a dozen or more, about 4 inches long. They do work, but again, you need to do it constantly, as ants are everywhere and they like food...............https://www.bigc.co.th/en/product/ars-ant-killer-size-2-5-g.3781?utm_source=google&utm_medium=pmax&utm_campaign=idacbkk_ecom_bigc_gg_pmax_top-category_dryfood-household_con&utm_content=alway-on&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=19902798875&gclid=Cj0KCQjwrojHBhDdARIsAJdEJ_cfFsw1CHnldM1pCt0PwTMIrPJcv3bnNvoO42tdNDBGSrpix3yjrTwaAgc3EALw_wcB Geez mate, a photo would have been a lot better

Had an ants colony coming from my neighbour's room (she's cooking inside her room), I put a few drops on my balcony, within minutes thousands of ants gathered for the feast. The next day, they were all gone. Had to repeat the operation about a month later. Same result, they disappeared again... Paid 210 baht for it at Home Pro I have used that on several occasions after trying other remedies. A single drop placed on an ant trail and smeared into a circle no bigger than one centimeter diameter wili quickly attract ants around the perimeter to feed. They carry the 'food' internally back to the colony and feed it to larvae and other workers. The delayed action is fatal to the insects and the colony will die off. Of course, life goes on and new colonies continually form and new visitors may arrive so keeping a tube handy is sensible. A Bayer product, fairly expensive at around ThB 180 in outlets such as HomePro but, in my opinion, good value because of economical use and effectiveness.
October 10, 2025Oct 10 Another tip is try to find their home outside. Have the ant treatment ready and then vibrate or disturb the area to get them to run out. You will need to be diligent and keep hunting for areas they frequent outside to get the upper hand. Took about 3 or 4 days of persistent treatment. One exterminator said the either hint for food or water so keep both treatments active I was able to push them back probably 10 meters from the house.
October 10, 2025Oct 10 When they are really bothering use a spray, Bayern. Baygone? Never the less it is poison, watch your hands and inhaling. Vent afterwards the area. But we have all kinds of ants, now and then in the house. They can vary form 1 mm to 3 cm. The biggest ones (think queens) come flying in on certain occasions when it is raining AND the light is on. NOt on lights outside, BUT in the house. and they be 2 cm or so big. Annoying then. They just invade the whole house. I will not spray, makes no sense, as they are spread all over the house. Kill them manually. Wife says light out and water bowls. Happily she gave away het vacuum cleaner, otherwise I could suck them in. THis year saw a gecko moving on the floor, it was dead, never the less ants found it and were dragging it, probably to nest. Nowadays they dont get much change on that, as the cat is hunting on every gecko she can find. Find, play, kill and EAT ! Though she gets cat food. You drop one drop of meat water on the floor and types of ants find it in no time. As for everything there is an ant sort, it seems. Kitchen is out, I do pre wash after we eat, but wife not always consistent in it, then we have some ants, but not millions of it. There are times, there are ants running around. Guess has to do with situations in nest. The dog food is in a bag and I never saw ants around there giving problems, not even a spilled dog chunky. Seldom. Then I could wonder about the quality of the dog food? Dont see ants a lot around food or in the food. Only when fallen on floor, it can attract a species of ants. Normally you dont even see them, but when they find something they like, then they are there, cleaning the floor then. It leaves me flabbergasted. Amazing also, you see them move? I think they are doing 20km/h, all time, every time. Try it, 555. Im more worried about the big venomous centipedes, we had last year 3 times in the house. Or meeting a Malaysian pitviper right in front of the house in the garden. And they are nasty, I red. And there are some other types, as sometimes we find skin of snakes. Last year also had 3 types of green snakes close to house, looked them up, happily not dangerous. Every time I come there , there are new animals showing themselves. Im always on my guard when moving around. Even at mom's house, they never saw any snake when living there. But mom had a tiny cobra in house. Also it seems little scorpio's, really small about 7 cm and white, can hide every where and they give a nasty bite. Happily no fire ants or leaf ants, as they are more aggressive and bite. However leaf ants are in trees, beware the trees. Also the bigger forest ants, they stay out, never come in or with food. The ants come and go again, not always continu to come. And im not picking out in food one ant. it is protein. Ever ate ants eggs? They sell in Thailand. Just tried and not really a thrill, I think. You can see Thai catching them from trees with long sticks and a net. Sometimes it is better to ignore and live with, mindset. As poison is not good for them, but also not good for you.

I have had this apartment for about 12 years and now for the first time I am very badly affected by these very small ants, they are always now in my kettle, all over the very small table, and a plate I keep on it. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of them, I have tried the spraying of vinegar mixed with water which is useless, I don't know anything about queen ants and trails. If I want to have a snack, I now have to go up to the kitchen. Anyone got any ideas? Ants etc are attracted by food particles, anything left out on a worktop will attract them. If you must leave your toaster out, then buy a sealable food bag and place the toaster ((cold) in the bag sealed when not in use. Finally clean your worktops and cupboards etc. Tea Tree oil is very effective against ants etc.
October 10, 2025Oct 10 Boric acid and sugar mix with warm water to make a paste. 4 -1 ratio sugar to boric acid. Put in small pots with holes or old jar lids. Ants will be gone in a few days. Don't leave food about for them. Get boric acid off Lazada. it's very cheap.
October 11, 2025Oct 11 You need to figure out where the ants are coming from: Clean the countertop and then observe the ant trail. At first, only 2-3 ants will come as scouts, so wait for the troop to arrive! Once you find the trail back to the source, use Ant Killer and spray all the trails with it. Ants are clever and often move in tile joints, so they usually go unnoticed. The source of my ant infestation is about 10 meters from my kitchen! Since spraying, I've had peace of mind!
