The I am glad that this man will go on to lock eyes with you for a split second in Big C then then immediately turn back to his 5ft handler who only speaks Isaan and German.

I’d be fascinated to know if he can speakenzee English. There are lots of these Germans with handlers who can’t and it’s telling that he’s speaking German down that Well when to be understood surely he’d be wanting to be speaking English or Thai. Unless as I alluded to he’s conversing with his handler who is translating everything for him.

I bumped into a young German guy in my town and he told me that they have clubs in Germany that hold dating conventions for introducing Thai woman who specifically learn German for the Job of becoming the handler. Got the odd one around my village if you bump in them in a village shop they can’t/won’t communicate. Strange bunch.

Even stranger are the Isaan women who can only speak German.  Next door to us in the village we had a women who would disappear for months at a time and eventually I was told she was in Germany visiting her very old  boyfriend. She recently died and was a typical veil old Isaan witch. When back in the village it was party time on the LaoKhao whiskey. She was another one who insisted in speaking German to me, “ I can’t speak German, try Thai or English!!! “ I’d say.
