Apparently Israelis have been banned from Bali and he was saying the place had a much better vibe as a result and less conflict. What Thailand is gaining from these Israelis they are probably losing now from other nationalities. If they the Israelis keep it it up the Thais might ban them also.

The abuses by the Israelis will mean expats will soon be unable to use such "borderline" methods like Thai nominees and agents for retirement, as the Thais will crack down on abuses by Israelis. Again, the Israelis ruining it for everybody else.

There 'was' one hotel in Chiang Mai, a block off Loi Khraw, that catered TO them, and some of the stories the staff would tell of various complaints and problems caused were nothing short of hilarious! That hotel seems to have closed.

As part of a motorbike group we go there regularly, never seen or heard of any sign banning Thais, I'm also very friendly with some Thai restaurant owners there, that would have been big news.

To clarify about this all Israeli passport holders are banned entering all of Indonesia. Same as Malaysia. Not because of bad behavior as tourists or expats but because of foreign policy about the government of Israel. I think that your post implied differently.
