Israeli authorities abused detainees until final moments

Featured Replies

Palestinian prisoner Kamal Abu Shanab said on Monday that Israeli authorities continued to mistreat detainees until the very moment of their release, describing widespread abuse and inhumane conditions inside Israeli prisons.

And Hamas hasn't returned the bodies of the Israelis they kidnapped, abused and murdered.

Maybe Kamal Abu Shanab should thank Allah that he didn't come home in a body bag.

How is that relevant?

Btw, why don’t you answer my question- do you support Netanyahu’s policies?

Absolutely. He is a scholar, a great man, a humanitarian and a great friend of the USA as well as being an enemy of the loathsome terrorists that seek the destruction of all jews and the USA.

OK, so a known killer has made an allegation. He had access to legal and humanitarian organization visits. He had access to medical care, and there is no evidence to support his  claim.

The man is a murderer. He killed, intimidated, and tortured other Arabs. Arabs who disagreed with his group's views.

He was incarcerated  because he recruited operatives for the Tanzim - the military wing of Fatah, and was involved in several cases of kidnapping and interrogating suspects accused of collaboration with Israel. He was involved in the murder of an Arab resident of the West Bank.

So, what's your point?

Classic deflection. So your defense of abuse is that the victim “deserved it”? That’s not how the rule of law works. Even if Abu Shanab was guilty of every accusation, mistreatment in custody still violates international human rights and Israel’s own legal commitments.

The world knows about Israel’s deplorable treatment of prisoners, why are you adding this whataboutism? Are you Jewish or Israeli?

No deflection. All you offer is a murderer's claim. There is no corroborating  evidence to support the claim. Israel treats the  violent murderers far better than what these people  do to each other. Your hypocrisy is showing.  Not a word from you on the. violent kneecapping of Fatah detainees by Hamas. And yet here you are  championing the  allegation of a  man who tortured and murdered other Arabs.

“Welcome to Hell” is a report on the abuse and inhuman treatment of Palestinians held in Israeli custody since 7 October 2023. B’Tselem collected testimonies from 55 Palestinians held during that time and released, almost all with no charges. Their testimonies reveal the outcomes of the rushed transformation of more than a dozen Israeli prison facilities, military and civilian, into a network of camps dedicated to the abuse of inmates as a matter of policy. Facilities in which every inmate is deliberately subjected to harsh, relentless pain and suffering operate as de-facto torture camps.

If you honestly think there was no deflection in your post, there no point talking to you, it’s pure textbook deflection.
Do you support Netanyahus policies?

btw, you never answered my last question. 🙋
