A Thai woman living in London has appealed for legal assistance after surviving an attack in the heart of the city, claiming a man tried to push her in front of a moving bus at Piccadilly Circus. She says police have yet to provide any update on the case, even after providing a call reference number.

 

The woman, identified as Tanapachara Richard Chusong, described the ordeal in her Facebook post on 19 October 2025, saying the attack occurred around 19:00 on 15 October. According to her post, a stranger suddenly attempted to push her into the path of a bus before continuing to physically assault her after she fell to the ground. Her clothes, including her trousers, shirt and jacket, were torn during the struggle.

 

Tanapachara said several good Samaritans intervened, pulling the man away and staying with her until police arrived about ten minutes later. “The witnesses were so kind, one mother hugged me so tightly,” she wrote, adding that there were four witnesses who described the attacker to police and were recorded giving statements on video. Shocked and shaken, she did not collect their contact details herself.

 

Police reportedly took her on a patrol around the area for about 20 minutes, but were unable to locate the suspect. Officers then dropped her at Waterloo Station, where she had to take the train home alone despite her injuries and damaged clothing. She said the police recorded her statement and assured her they would follow up, but she has not received any further communication.

 

Tanapachara appealed for help in finding a lawyer in the UK to ensure her case is pursued properly. “I came to the UK alone, if no one helps me, I will have to help myself,” she wrote. The post has since been widely shared by social media users in Thailand and the UK, with many expressing concern for her safety and calling for a police update.

 

Authorities in London have not yet issued a statement about the incident or confirmed whether an investigation is ongoing.

Of course it couldn't happen, all Brits are so law abiding and welcome all non-brits with open arms.  So it would seem all the recent race-riots are just the figment of everyone's imagination - unbelievable that anything like this could ever happen.

Had she worn a burqa and had a male family chaperone she would have been safe. London is a "modern" and "progressive" city.

Since there is not a mention of what color attacked her,

it will probably be a darker shade than beige/pink.

Totally agree. Nowadays, the police/media outlets when issuing a statement tend to skirt over the physical details of an assailant if it happens to be an ethnic or an illegal. Got to be seen to be fair and unbiased rather than actually trying to catch a criminal..........

I bet it was reported almost immediately that he was a white, British male. Wouldn't have been the case if the shoe sandal had been on the other foot.

 

Did you have to do much digging to establish his ethnicity? No? Thought not. 

Well, as it was a case of a Thai "woman" (in the loosest possible description) being attacked... likely narrows down the perps due to their intolerant beliefs on such things and their contempt for personal freedom/identity etc.

Delude yourselves all you want if it makes you sleep better in your fantasy world. If they told everyone the personal ethnic background of all the crims, then it would whip-up a storm of protest and open a real can of worms, as I bet the truth is disproportionately disturbing... hence the attempted cover-ups on so much in Rochdale in the UK and elsewhere in other countries. The authorities are paranoid people with find out the truth.
