The french fries are always very hot.

You must be joking. Most of the time they are lukewarm to say the least.

The way to get freshly fried chips, is to ask for no salt, then they have to cook a new batch for you. In McDs and KFC.

Absolutely Andrew I agree

Same with the other forums !

These Forum companies could get rid of staff and save money if no one posted

Good thinking Andrew

it may be my Sukhamvit road location. They are always full at the EmQ mall.

90% of my McDonald’s meals are in an airport. Unless they have Burger King there.

Nope.

Steak and 3 veg is where I'm at.

If I actually fancy a fast food takeaway burger it's a BK Whopper.

If I am suffering from a hangover it will be a McD's Big Mac as a necessity.

The sausage egg mcmuffin is a pretty good breakfast, and a quarter pounder with cheese is good for soaking up alcohol.

I do prefer Burger king (hungry jacks)

In Australia we have the " Aussie Whopper burger"  which has egg and beetroot on it

I tried ordering this in Bangkok last time only to have mystified faces 😳

.I emailed Burger king in Australia to complain put a 4 page complaint letter in and received $60 worth of free  vouchers !!

When I'm back home and going hunting in the morning, I'll stop at McDonalds and get an Egg McMuffin with just the egg and muffin. No cheese, canadian bacon or butter, toasted. It's a healthy choice.

McDonald’s doesn’t have the fly crap all over it like the market food they have sitting out in their stalls with no running water.

"shirtless, tatted up (mostly drunk brits" That pretty much describes most of the Brits in Thailand.

No, but they keep their burger patties warm in warm water. They started this practice a few years ago and after that their burgers were never hot. The only time I eat McDonalds now is for a quick motorway lunch (maybe 2 times a year).   Burger King or Moss burger are much much better in my opinion, but even those I rarely eat. (maybe 4 or 5 times a year).

I prefer Thai food, but occasionally I'll go for a roast lunch or something.

I have a British friend who has lived here for 25 years and I have never seen him eat any Thai food whatsoever.

I am about 220kms from the nearest golden arches, We do pass one on the drive into Bangkok, the TW always says , you stopping for a Mac Dono..........

Not everyone go to Thailand for the same reasons as you do

I think I went to ONE bar only in my last 5 weeks in Pattaya

Some go to de-stress ,to get away from their own country, etc

some go to catch up on digital nomad work by the pool , enjoy the massages on the side ,go to the gym

It's to get away

It's about getting away to a different environment not spending time like yourself and please don't be offended but we all don't want to be in a drunken stupor spending money at Go Go bars in Pattaya

My reply was but a sarcastic parody to the OP and his Original Post.

Most of them manage to indulge in those activities without even leaving their bedroom

Why are you here... on a Westerner orientated forum ???

Shouldn't you be immersing yourself in the rich culture Thailand has to offer, avoiding all 'farang' area's and getting down with the 'real Thailand' ???

How did you spot these 'shirtless tatted farangs' in McD's ???... Were you ALSO in there ???

One can assume that such behavior exists in places like Pattaya or Patong - So, what were you doing there ? why are you in McD's and not eating the local food ???

Seems you just want a rant at foreigners / Brits, yet you exercise the very same behavior you are critical of....   perhaps with the shirt on...

Hardly enough to keep you going until lunch time's Big Mac.
