Here the intro of Aaron Siri's X-post.

In the full post, he mentions and provides references to 3 more important studies that support the conclusion that

> There is No convincing evidence that Flu Vaccines can Reduce Mortality, Hospital Admissions, Serious complications or Community Transmission of Influenza.

Anti-vax nonsense above. Facts below:

Protection from flu vaccine around 50% for Southern Hemisphere, data reveal

October 17, 2025

"In a precursor to what we might expect in the coming flu season in the United States and across the Northern Hemisphere, a new study shows flu vaccine effectiveness (VE) to be around 50% for both clinic visits and hospital stays for influenza during the 2025 Southern Hemisphere flu season.

The findings, which demonstrate that the vaccine cuts the rate of medical care for flu in half, were published recently in Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report by researchers with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Pan American Health Organization, and their collaborators in Southern Hemisphere nations. [emphasis added]

...

Protection similar across several subgroups

The investigators identified patients with influenza-like illness (ILI) in outpatient settings and those with severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) admitted to a hospital in one of eight countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, New Zealand, Paraguay, South Africa, and Uruguay. The patient data were collected in sentinel surveillance systems, which can alert scientists to disease trends. They used a test-negative case-control study design to estimate VE.

...

Among patients with ILI, adjusted VE against influenza-associated outpatient illness with any influenza virus was 50.4% (95% confidence interval [CI], 33.2% to 63.2%) ... Among patients with SARI, adjusted VE against influenza-associated hospitalization with any influenza virus was 49.7% (95% CI, 46,3% to 52.8%). ... VE was 51.3% against hospitalization in young children, 51.9% among people with underlying conditions, and 37.7% in older adults (60 and older or 65 and older, depending on the country)."  [emphasis added]

Re the source of the OP, Aaron Siri is an anti-vaxer attorney associated with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the anti-vax group he founded, Children's Health Defense.

Screenshot_9.jpg.8450c329c810851a6aadfb87cbada54c.jpg

"Overall, we rate the Children’s Health Defense a strong conspiracy and quackery level advocacy group that frequently promotes unsupported claims. We also rate them low for factual reporting due to the promotion of propaganda and several failed fact checks." [emphasis added]

https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/childrens-health-defense/

He's also been trying to get the U.S. FDA to revoke the longstanding approvals for a whole raft of childhood vaccines including the polio vaccine.

Kennedy’s Lawyer Has Asked the F.D.A. to Revoke Approval of the Polio Vaccine

Dec. 13, 2024

"The lawyer helping Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pick federal health officials for the incoming Trump administration has petitioned the government to revoke its approval of the polio vaccine, which for decades has protected millions of people from a virus that can cause paralysis or death. [emphasis added]

That campaign is just one front in the war that the lawyer, Aaron Siri, is waging against vaccines of all kinds.

Mr. Siri has also filed a petition seeking to pause the distribution of 13 other vaccines; challenged, and in some cases quashed, Covid vaccine mandates around the country; sued federal agencies for the disclosure of records related to vaccine approvals; and subjected prominent vaccine scientists to grueling videotaped depositions.

Much of Mr. Siri’s work — including the polio petition filed in 2022 — has been on behalf of the Informed Consent Action Network, a nonprofit whose founder is a close ally of Mr. Kennedy. Mr. Siri also represented Mr. Kennedy during his presidential campaign.

The benefits of the flu vaccine, per the U.S. CDC, a public health agency that is now sadly supervised by Kennedy:

Benefits of the Flu Vaccine

August 14, 2024

Reduce flu illness

"Flu vaccination can keep you from getting sick with flu.

Flu vaccine prevents millions of illnesses and flu-related doctor's visits each year. For example, during 2019-2020, the last flu season prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, flu vaccination prevented an estimated 7 million influenza illnesses, 3 million influenza-associated medical visits, 100,000 influenza-associated hospitalizations, and 7,000 influenza-associated deaths. [emphasis added]

During seasons when flu vaccine viruses are similar to circulating flu viruses, flu vaccine has been shown to reduce the risk of having to go to the doctor with flu by 40 - 60%." [emphasis added]

https://www.cdc.gov/flu-vaccines-work/benefits/index.html

And here's what the 2018 Cochrane Review report linked above actually said about its review of past studies on the effectiveness of the flu vaccine solely for healthy children:

Live attenuated vaccines

"Compared with placebo or do nothing, live attenuated influenza vaccines probably reduce the risk of influenza infection in children aged 3 to 16 years from 18% to 4% (risk ratio (RR) 0.22, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.11 to 0.41... and they may reduce ILI by a smaller degree, from 17% to 12% (RR 0.69, 95% CI 0.60 to 0.80...

Inactivated vaccines

Compared with placebo or no vaccination, inactivated vaccines reduce the risk of influenza in children aged 2 to 16 years from 30% to 11% (RR 0.36, 95% CI 0.28 to 0.48; 1628 children; high-certainty evidence), and they probably reduce ILI from 28% to 20% (RR 0.72, 95% CI 0.65 to 0.79; 19,044 children; moderate-certainty evidence).

Authors' conclusions

In children aged between 3 and 16 years, live influenza vaccines probably reduce influenza (moderate-certainty evidence) and may reduce ILI (low-certainty evidence) over a single influenza season. In this population inactivated vaccines also reduce influenza (high-certainty evidence) and may reduce ILI (low-certainty evidence).

Key messages

Live attenuated and inactivated vaccines can reduce the proportion of children who have influenza and ILI. Variation in the results of studies means that we are uncertain about the effects of these vaccines across different seasons." [emphasis added]

spot on!

Seasonal flu vaccine effectiveness varies by year, depending on how well the chosen vaccine components selected in  advance end up matching the flu virus strains that circulate later in the year. Below is the CDC's chart of annual flu vaccine effectiveness in recent years:

Can't you see that it's all made up Sir?

It's all part of the giant Big Pharma money-go-round circus. With everyone supping from the $$$.

There is no virus causing influenza. No virus = no disease. No disease = no need for a vaxx. And yet it still comes.

Go Kennedy go. Sock it to 'em. You know who they are. Sweep them away.

As for CDC data on the effectiveness of the flu vaccine specifically for children:

"CDC data shows the flu vaccine is effective for children, though its exact effectiveness varies by season and the metric used. For the 2024–2025 season, interim estimates show effectiveness of 32–60% against outpatient visits and 63–78% against hospitalization for children and adolescents. Prior studies have also demonstrated the vaccine significantly reduces flu-related hospitalizations, emergency department visits, and deaths among children. [emphasis added]

Interim Estimates of 2024–2025 Seasonal Influenza Vaccine Effectiveness — Four Vaccine Effectiveness Networks, United States, October 2024–February 2025

February 27, 2025

"Interim 2024–2025 seasonal influenza VE estimates were derived from four U.S. VE networks. Among children and adolescents, VE was 32%, 59%, and 60% in outpatient settings (three networks) and 63% and 78% against influenza-associated hospitalization (two networks)." [emphasis added]

What are the implications for public health practice?

Vaccination with the 2024–2025 influenza vaccine reduced the risk for influenza-associated outpatient visits and hospitalization. These findings support recommendations that all eligible persons aged ≥6 months should receive an annual influenza vaccination. Vaccination should be offered as long as influenza viruses are circulating." [emphasis added]

There is an interesting concept to ponder.

Is the vaccine causing the problems, or is it the embedded belief in invisible contagious viruses psyching out those who have idolized their doctors too much leading to the excess sickness?  In affect, are the hypochondriacs manufacturing sickness due to the embedded belief implanted into them?

This is critical because by default, if you adopt healthy beliefs backed by a superior authority, then you can manufacture the health you desire, on demand, and at will.

Actually, not surprisingly to most rational people, it's the flu vaccine preventing adults and children from getting sick from the flu who, without the vaccine, would get sick in larger numbers and more seriously:

https://www.cdc.gov/flu-vaccines-work/benefits/index.html

And to get a taste of what happens already right now BECAUSE there's a pretty low flu vaccination rate in the U.S. already:

Burden

"While the numbers vary, each year in the US, millions of people get sick from flu, hundreds of thousands are hospitalized, and tens of thousands die from flu and related complications. Flu also affects employers and businesses, costing an estimated $11.2 billion in direct and indirect costs in the US annually. Vaccines help prevent millions of cases of respiratory infections each year.

"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has classified the 2024-2025 flu season as high severity overall across all ages. According to preliminary estimates, there have been at least 47 million flu-related illnesses, 21 million medical visits, 610,000 hospitalizations, and 27,000 deaths, including 281 pediatric deaths during the 2024-2025 flu season."  [emphasis added]

https://www.nfid.org/infectious-disease/flu/

And all of the above is with flu vaccination rates in the U.S. that only have been covering about half of the eligible population:

" In the 2023–24 flu season, vaccination coverage with ≥1 dose of flu vaccine was 55.4% among children 6 months through 17 years, a decrease of 2.0 percentage points compared with the 2022–23 flu season (57.4%) and a decrease of 8.3 percentage points compared with the pre-pandemic 2019–20 season (63.7%). The last time flu vaccination coverage among children was this low or lower was 12 seasons ago (2011–12, 51.5%).

Flu vaccination coverage among adults ≥18 years was 44.9%, a decrease of 2.0 percentage points from the prior season (46.9%). For adults, after an initial increase in flu vaccination coverage in the season immediately following the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, coverage has steadily declined since the 2020–21 season. The last time flu vaccination coverage among adults was lower was six seasons ago (2017–18, 37.1%)."

Is the CDC actually telling the truth? They have the data, so it must be true.

Hope Kennedy get a new web-master in place. This CDC shower has to be swept away, and the www corrected where necessary.

"Flu vaccination can keep you from getting sick with flu." Wonder how it does that? Considering there is no such disease as The Flu. CDC porkies once again.

I know some of the ingredients of the flu vaxx. It would shock the average person, who rolls up their sleeve to know. Bits of horse. Bits of cow. Bits of monkey. Aluminum. It is simply toxic junk.

Nature is trying to love us right now; despite the white-coats lies and anti-science falsehoods.

Yeah, I clicked on one of the PubMed links and the study does conclude this.

So he is telling the truth based on that study.

So based on this study, flu vaccine hesitancy might be a good idea.

But doesn't mean it can be extrapolated to all other vaccines.

Nope, some people are very resilient to poison.

But you would definitely be in better shape if you had skipped those shots.
