The Philippine National Police (PNP) has announced its deployment of over 30,000 officers across the country from October 29 to November 3 for Undas 2025. Lieutenant General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., Acting Chief of PNP, confirmed the deployment during a flag-raising ceremony at Camp Crame on October 27. The plan aims to ensure safety during the observance of Undas, coordinating closely with local government units and other agencies.

Nartatez emphasized, “Our PNP deployment plan is already in place, in close coordination with our partners with the LGUs and other government agencies.” The officers will be dispatched to crowded areas, particularly cemeteries and transport terminals, to maintain order and security.

Alongside the PNP, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is also on full alert with approximately 2,403 personnel deployed to manage expected heavy traffic and crowd influxes in Metro Manila starting October 29. The strategy involves collaboration with the Highway Patrol Group (HPG), Department of Transportation (DOTr), North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), and South Luzon Expressway (SLEX).

Their joint efforts will include the establishment of help desks and the deployment of traffic personnel at bus terminals and cemeteries. This initiative is set to run from October 29 through November 3, aiming to facilitate smoother transit and ensure public safety during the holiday.
