These the same people that state the USA isn't bankrupt, but technically, couldn't pay the debt if it was called.   Spend more money every year that they don't have.

Same people that print money backed by nothing, and profit from the interest on the borrowed mony to pay the interest on the borrowed money to pay the debt.

The same entity that has no gov't oversight, and answers to nobody, well, except themselves, and we all know who they are :coffee1:

we are stuck in an ice age, and the sooner we exit the merrier

The current ice age is about 2.4 million years old. Homo sapiens have been on the planet about 200,000 years. In other words, we emerged as a species during the current ice age. And human beings have evolved over the millennia to cope with a range of climates. We definitely don't fare well when temperatures rise above that range. Yet you believe that is a desirable outcome.

The main reason beef has become painfully expensive comes down to economics and climate: As global temperatures rise, shrinking cattle herds are straining the nation's beef supply even as demand remains strong...

The Trump administration this year has imposed new tariffs on several major coffee producers that export to the U.S. That includes a 50% levy on Brazil, a 10% tariff on Colombia and a 20% tax on Vietnam. In Brazil, that has led producers to withhold shipments as they negotiate with American roasters over who will absorb the added costs, throttling supplies in the U.S., according to investment bank UBS.

Basically, the 2 main reasons are climate change and tariffs.

I don’t eat beef or drink coffee.   It’s a non issue for me.  People Should eat less beer, so raise the prices.

The statisticians/economists who work for the Federal Reserve statistics division are the same people who tell you all this? This sounds like the kind of angry empty comment that would come  from some politician campaigning for the Ignorant Party.

actually..... there is a big big climate meeting somewhere,   and my guess is that they are trying to decide whether to go with the  "global warning hysteria"  or the "global cooling"  narrative .

After a week of high cost accomodations , caviar and cocktails ....... they will surely just stick with  "climate change" .    Heck,  can't go wrong with that.

"OK...... fuel up my jet .   We're off to the next summit ."

It's clear where you get your information from. The anthropogenic climate change denialists typically claim that climate scientists used t believe that the earth was cooling. Even in the early days of climate science there was far more research favoring global warming than global cooling.

THE MYTH OF THE 1970s GLOBAL COOLING SCIENTIFIC CONSENSUS

"An enduring popular myth suggests that in the 1970s the climate science community was predicting “global cooling” and an “imminent” ice age, an observation frequently used by those who would undermine what climate scientists say today about the prospect of global warming. A review of the literature suggests that, on the contrary, greenhouse warming even then dominated scientists' thinking as being one of the most important forces shaping Earth's climate on human time scales. More importantly than showing the falsehood of the myth, this review describes how scientists of the time built the foundation on which the cohesive enterprise of modern climate science now rests."

a superhabitable world is no different from a greenhouse earth,

life thrives in higher temperature and co2

This is so dumb it's hard to know where to begin. This article is about a planet that allows for maximum diversity of life. It's not about human beings. It doesn't mean that homo sapiens, the product of evolution on earth would thrive in such an environment. Human beings have evolved in a different environment. So, it's not about what would be favorable for humans. Only that diversity of all life would be even greater on this theoretical planet than on earth.

humans are a tropical species, anywhere outside it you freeze to death without hunkering down inside bubbles with artificial heating and insulation,

we could not venture outside africa until we invented fire, protective bubbles, and hide/pelt/furs to protect our self from the hostile environment outside the tropics in this ice age

You don't seem to understand how evolution works. It's true that homo sapiens emerged as a species in Africa. But about 50,000 to 70,000 years ago, some moved out and adapted to new climates as anyone can tell just by looking at them. What's more, just because the locals who remained adapted to a certain range of temperature, that doesn't mean tha humans will function healthily if the range goes higher. For example:

err, no, we havnt adapted one iota, we have emulated tropical climate inside bubbles that we stay in, in order to not freeze to death

Yep, Trump is marvelous, isn't he!😄
