hmm.  thanks for that advice.  I usually exchange at the airport once I arrive from the USA.  But over the years never saw a huge difference to many of the other places in Pattaya.  I used to stay up on Soi bukhao a lot and around the corner from D Apartment there was a yellow colored exchange booth that was convenient.  Haven't been in country since 2019 but heading there in December finally.

For the challenged individuals who are confused by Floor G and Floor 1, I'll spell it out. It's pretty easy to look at the floor numbers when you enter Central. Floor G is when you enter Central from either side, and go down to the bottom level with the food courts on either side. Floor 1 is when you enter from street level. SuperRich is next to the entrance from Hilton. Just go to Hilton and instead of entering Hilton, enter the door to Central. SuperRich will hit you in the face once you enter lol

And no reason to get excited about that Superrich.

Checked on Nov 15 (Sat evening). Very little differences (small $$ better on Superrich).

EUR, GBP, AUD better at TT.

All booths in the airport have identical terrible rates and pose the first welcome to scam country.

You insult or attack just about every poster. You need to stop that.  I was saying that you probably are not comparing the best in Pattaya.  The good ones I have used in Pattaya are very close to the good ones at the airport.  I was NOT making any comparisons of the photos in this thread which I think you were assuming I was.

He's referring to the booths on airport premises whereas I'm pretty sure you're referring to the booths in the basement level at the airport.  These are technically off airport property and offer the superior rates you appear to have taken advantage of.

Superrich at Central Pattaya actually gives a worse rate than any of the TT Exchange. The non-TT Exchange on the corner intersection of 2nd Rd and Klang near the police box always gives a bit higher than TT Exchange.

Generally correct.

On my last visit I found that hunting for best rate has become more complex.

Most noname have terrible rates but some have best rates.

 

Rule of thumb: check market rate at xe.com.

Deduct 0.25 to 0.35 (for USD, EUR, GBP) and the result is a "reasonable" rate.

I'm not sure what the thread is about:  is it simply to point out that Superrich is there?   It's been there ages; i certainly used it back in January when i was last there.
