I get the opposite thought often, when I see Thai kids basically running amok in say a restaurant unchecked, thinking back to my own quite strict upbringing. But that was some 6 decades ago, three generations,  and I expect it is not the same now, (Living here I am out of touch). More kids, more benefits was something I heard quite a number of times when in the UK!

It sounds like the last one wanted you back so much that she moved on and married again. Does she want to get back with her first husband as well?

Don,t know who is at fault but if he left the country with the son she has no chance. Marriage breakdown maybe the reason
