No. But we clearly get it. You have no friends, no life, no hobbies, no real interests beyond hunting down cheap hotels and restaurants. There’s nothing going on with you, you're extremely lonely and,

Just returned from my trip to Texas and I see things are much the same. The usual suspect with a new name change but blatantly obvious in his ways. I wonder if he actually thinks he's fooling anyone.

It seems the trip didn't cheer you up. Still miserable. Get out of Isaan dude.

Where do you get miserable from my comment? Stating a fact isn't personal. The trip was great, and a preview of us moving back home soon.

No, a child was created, so it's actually a blessing. Leaving will be another. Failing would be staying here.

Just what the world needs. A motherless kid with a 70yo dad.

Better than a father younger that's never involved, home or neglective. Ever see how many fatherless children there are here? And I'm 69, and like I've mentioned before, best to stay out of discussions involving children when you both don't have any and haven't a clue about what raising one involves. Also, a mother like her isn't a plus for a child but a burden on their future development.

Your ego is a burden. Poor kid.

No, my ego has nothing to do with how I raise my child, and something you know nothing about. Again, seeing you're still answering from ignorance, I thought after a month and a half you would surely be back with your usual blather. Staying here with a mom who's history includes giving children away, she surely is better off with a parent who actually cares, and in a country where women aren't automatically looked at as inferior.

You have no idea how to talk to people. Kid be better off without you.

If you are bored in your homeland, you will still end up bored in Thailand. If you have mental issues or say inner frustrations or ego problems in your homeland, they will remain in Thailand. One cannot run from these very normal and human conditions by going abroad. But one can definately solve them, with qualified medical help if necessary...but do it back home and dont' think it will vanish and absorb just by going to a tropical paradise with cheap booze and ladies. All the best.

How would you know how I talk with people? Responding to people like you the way I do is necessary. Your kind needs to be curtailed as soon as possible so it doesn't get out of hand. My other 5 children, who I practically raised by myself, are all doing well, as this one will also, seeing I'm the only real parent she has.

Again, you're doing exactly what you always do, making yourself look the fool from a lack of knowledge and major assumptions about people you know very little about. And what you do know about them, like a few others here, you twist things around to feed your own low self esteem to bolster your own ego. Making yourself feel better doing this has you going off on a tangent where reality escapes your thinking.

Also, you know almost nothing about children besides what you see others doing in person, and nothing about how they are properly raised. The way you talk here shows your own childhood was a possible nightmare.

Easy to see why you failed in Thailand. Oh well. Comedy for us.

Thailand is far more exciting. Lots to do. The west has very little to do except work.

It might not be a good idea lumping you with "us", as you're in your own little world. And your brand of insanity is definitely comedy for the members here, although you probably haven't realized this yet.

Seeing you probably don't read what others write and only answer like a bot, I did say earlier a child was created here, so failure isn't part of that, and failing is what some do staying in a country where they aren't happy or where they can't enjoy their hobbies, seeing Thailand, besides the beach areas, is a very boring country to live in. Most, like you, will soon realize this when buying girls gets old, and you realize they are only after you because of the cash you spend. Can't wait for your next ignorant reply, usually consisting of one line, just to keep showing everyone how you think.

You might have forgotten fishing, country drives, hunting, watching many sports, concerts, beaches, mountains (without mines and venomous snakes for the most part), skiing, boating, every food you can find worldwide in one place, sailing, and everything Thailand has without the dangerous roads. Thailand again, besides the beaches, is as far from exciting as one can get. Unless you like gardening. And for those like me who live near the Cambodian border, a constant worry about our homes until this stays peaceful, if it ever does.

Failing would be, to not have the choice to do what you want when you want

That's what scares me most about the Times we live in now, to be stuck the wrong place, even everything looks promising for now Economically, you never know what happens in the future.

Not sure everyone who made the move 15-20 years ago, expected Thai baht to be as strong it is as now

Hunting isnt allowed in most countries. Plus its cruel and only for scumbags. Country drives are boring in the west. Thailand has cafes, hotels all over. Best country for driving. Thai beaches are better cause you can eat on the beach plus rooms are 500 baht.

You failed in Thailand. Isaan is boring and you dated a skank.

Which is why we'll be moving back "home", where life is more comfortable and where we more belong. You can exist anywhere, but it isn't comfortable.

Hunting is allowed in most countries, and is necessary to keep the animals in the carrying capacity of the land they live on. This you obviously don't understand, calling people who do more for animals than most anyone scumbags.

What's boring to you isn't boring to another, and country drives are what millions enjoy everywhere.

Thailand is about the most dangerous place to drive worldwide, and taking public transportation, you can't comment on that anyway.

You can eat on beaches most everywhere, especially in America.

Again, seeing you don't have any children your comments mean nothing, and having a child here was a blessing, and getting her out of here will be a blessing to her. Actually my ex wife was very pretty, as is my girlfriend now, so your assumptions about people here continue. The only thing you've said correct is that Isaan is boring.

So so so, relax a little bit now 😎

When you constantly bored and look for free gyms and hotels 400 baht a night, and monthly rent 6000 ish baht, and no vehicle, I wouldn't step on everyone else who chosed different than you.

As long you have enough resources Isaan is a great place for some.

Udon is ok but Chiang Mai is much better. Driving is the best thing to do.

Killing innocent animals for sport is for scumbags. Leave them alone. Too many people not animals.

Hunting animals for sport and more importantly meat, is again keeping the animals in check with their surroundings. It's developers that are doing the most damage to species on earth, but with your intellect, that seems to escape your thinking.

I can speak, so I'm not dumb. And what I said is true. I'm thinking you haven't been to too many places besides Chiang mai and Bangkok, especially not the west. "Sisaket has stuff all to do"? Doesn't sound like someone with a 133 IQ talking. I've been to Phuket, and again, it's the same as all beach areas. If you like water sports and the beach, it's fine, but some, like myself, don't like crowds, traffic, pollution, maniac drivers, and drunks.

I've been to 100 towns. You have no idea. Phuket has loads of boat tours, restaurants, nightlife, muay thai etc.

You're a loser. Wasted 7 years in Sisaket.

THe Thai Baht has been around 33 baht to the dollar for 15-20 years. 15 years ago it 32.73 and today it is 32.49. 1 year ago it was 34.60. I've been happy with the exchange rate but do have a little bit of anxiety the US dollar might collapse but don't lose any sleep over it :) Everybody country is testing the limits of debt and have no clue how it will end.

And it was merely around 40 15 years and before, and for me since I started 15 years and before the thai baht was half of what is it now. Im still good, but there will always be anxiety when it comes to future, and if you have enough for a comfortable life to the end. I can live of very little if I have to, but the biggest risk is still insurance and afford proper heath care.

The only thing you've said correct is that Isaan is boring.

Isaan can be boring is correct. If you have hobbies that you enjoy, you can be happy almost anywhere. There are levels though :) Personally, my hobbies become less enjoyable in many Isaan cities but I survived and semi-thrived:) Isaan is huge and many parts don't even remotely resemble other parts. I've spent 6+ Years in Chiang Mai and Jomtien and both were fun but Isaan in an area that meets my needs is better than both the above IMO.

If you enjoy spectacular views and nature in general there are places in Isaan where a person can find these. One downside I didn't anticipate is that I would miss expats after seeing very few for 5 years.

Thailand's country is beautiful in many areas. One problem is that I can't enjoy my two main hobbies, hunting and fishing. There isn't any hunting because if there were animals, besides the ones in the provincial parks, they would all be eaten in a week's time.

As far as fishing it goes much the same way. Little conservation besides private lakes. The public ones are netted out of all fish, including the bait size for the larger ones. Saltwater fishing is okay if you spend enough to get offshore.

I wouldn't walk in many of the mountainous areas because of the amount of venomous snakes countrywide, plus mines in the southern border areas. If gardening and golf are your hobbies, you can enjoy them anywhere, including here.
