Thai police raided a large e-cigarette warehouse in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, seizing 80,000 e-cigarettes valued at 24 million baht. The two-storey house, rented for 30,000 baht per month, also contained firearms, ammunition, mobile phones and iPads. Three men, aged 30 to 34, were arrested in connection with the operation.

The raid was conducted on 31 October 2025 by a team led by Pol. Maj. Gen. Decharapee Kongdee, with local police officials including Pol. Col. Jirayu Wanichkul and Pol. Col. Apisak Chotikasathien. A search warrant from Nonthaburi Provincial Court authorised entry into a house in Moo 8, Bang Talat Subdistrict, after intelligence indicated it was being used to store large quantities of e-cigarettes.

Inside the property, authorities found 80,000 e-cigarettes, two 9mm handguns with 70 rounds, eight mobile phones and two iPads. The suspects, Thawatchai, 32; Wutthirot, 34 and Wichawat, 30, were taken into custody for investigation.

Thawatchai admitted to renting the house for six months specifically to store e-cigarettes. He said the operation typically sold products to local teenagers by phone rather than online, at 160 baht per unit. He added that most of the stock had accumulated after stricter government crackdowns on e-cigarettes, resulting in unsold inventory.

The police described the seizure as a significant blow to illegal e-cigarette distribution in the region. The operation highlights ongoing enforcement against unlicensed tobacco and vaping products, with authorities continuing to monitor similar networks.
