November 9, 2025Nov 9 Popular Post Dear Folks, During the most recent shareholders meeting, Elon stated, almost categorically, that prisons will soon become obsolete. What damage do you think this might do to the Privatized Prison Industry in the USA, for example? And, what about the prison systems around the world, if Musk provides the technology to make his claim come true? Just in case you might not know how Elon’s vision will work, then watch his presentation. Elon plans to have his Optimus Robots follow criminals around, 24/7/365, rain or shine, and then monitor them to ensure that they are safe for society, even while living amongst us. Presumably, these Optimus Guards, these MINDERS, when they see their personal criminal about to commit another offense against society, will just BOP THEM on the HEAD, and that will be that. Do you agree with this revolutionary idea suggested by Elon? Sure, prisons are no fun, and getting rid of them is an admirable aspiration that we should all strive toward. However, in my view, I would prefer to keep the dregs of society out of sight, especially the white-collar ones. In case you might like to see the shareholders meeting, for yourselves, here is one link, of many...... But I think that Musk is on the wrong track, regarding this new idea. Because, personally, I would like to see criminals get sent to the Moon, and not even Mars. Some, maybe Trump, would like to see criminals sent to Central America. And, this is a plan. Also, we could send them to the hinterlands of China, even better, to do rice planting, which is backbreaking work. No need to have them living the good-life in American prisons, at taxpayers’ expense. And so, I agree, within reason, to have Optimus Robots monitor American Criminals. At the very least, we should give this idea a practical test. Speaking of guards, and the Stanford Prison Experiment…then…. Why not just send American criminals to Stanford University? Never belittle a new idea, until it is thoroughly tested. I love Musk for his willingness to share so many innovative ideas. And, some of his wildest ideas become reality, before you know it. And, his ideas are GOOD. Best regards, Gamma Note: I guess we are too old, now, to have an Optimus Robot following us around, although it would be nice.

November 10, 2025Nov 10 Most countries already use electronic tagging. They are easily removed with bolt croppers. The criminal might do this to evade authorities or to deliberately swap a long period of tagging for a shorter prison sentence. This sets off an alert. In the UK, the police probably would not bother to respond. The criminal may hand himself in. Or several months later the criminal will probably come to the attention of the police for something else. Musk's idea will encounter the same issues but at a much higher cost.

A robot is not a dumb "tag". A robot is a mechanical organism fully capable of.... Bopping the Criminal on the Head.

Knocking Heads together might knock some sense into American criminals, both the average criminal and also the white-collar criminal.

Indeed. You have conflated two separate ideas. The first is what you wish for. The second is what is allowed under the law. (GBH by robot is extremely unlikely to pass any legislature outside of China.)
November 10, 2025Nov 10 Don't see any reason to doubt him................. #### 1. **New York’s election system is a “scam”** - **Claim:** Musk alleged that New York City’s ballots were fraudulent and that no ID was required to vote. - **Reality:** Election officials confirmed that ID is not required in New York—but this is legal and longstanding. His claims about ballot design and fraud were **categorically false**. #### 2. **US election misinformation** - Musk has posted **at least 50 false or misleading claims** about U.S. elections on X (formerly Twitter), including: - Suggesting widespread voter fraud without evidence. - Amplifying debunked conspiracy theories about mail-in ballots and vote counting. - These posts have been viewed **over 1.2 billion times**, often without fact-check labels. #### 3. **“White genocide” in South Africa** - Musk has promoted the **debunked narrative** of white genocide in South Africa, a claim widely rejected by human rights groups and fact-checkers as **inflammatory and false**. #### 4. **COVID-19 predictions** - In 2020, Musk claimed: - “There will be close to zero new cases by end of April” (April 2020). - COVID panic is “dumb.” - These predictions were **wildly inaccurate**, as cases surged globally well beyond that date. #### 5. **Autopilot and Full Self-Driving (FSD) exaggerations** - Musk has repeatedly claimed that Tesla vehicles would be **fully autonomous “next year”**—since at least 2016. - As of 2025, Tesla’s FSD remains **Level 2 (partial automation)** and requires driver supervision. Regulators and engineers have called his timelines **misleading**. #### 6. **“Pedo guy” accusation** - Musk falsely accused British cave rescuer Vernon Unsworth of being a “pedo guy” during the 2018 Thai cave rescue. - He later admitted he had **no evidence**, and although he won a defamation suit, the claim was **baseless**.
