To Hien Thanh High School in Ninh Binh province has dismissed its council chairman following the spread of videos showing him in intimate situations with multiple women at his office. This decision aims to stabilize the school environment and maintain its reputation, as confirmed by Nguyen Van Thuan, deputy director of the provincial Department of Education and Training. The viral footage has caused public outrage and calls for action to protect the integrity of the educational setting.

 

The incidents reportedly took place in 2024 and early 2025, identified the man as the chairman of the school council. Although his office is on school grounds, it is managed by the board of directors rather than the school administration. According to a governmental decree, educational spaces must remain free from negative social influences, ensuring a wholesome environment for all staff and students.

 

As the situation unfolded, the Ninh Binh education department instructed the police to look into false information claiming the man was a teacher or principal. "This misinformation harms the teaching profession's reputation," said Thuan. Meanwhile, Vu Van Ky from the Hai Hau Commune People’s Committee emphasized the need to maintain normal teaching operations and calm within the school community.

 

Regarding the video's distribution, lawyer Nguyen Hong Quan highlighted that unauthorized sharing of such content could result in administrative fines or criminal charges due to potential violations of privacy and personal rights. Legal actions against the distributor are expected, considering the video's serious impact and reach.

 

Looking forward, To Hien Thanh High School, a private entity with around 900 students, continues to focus on normalcy and effective management. The school’s council, according to education ministry regulations, acts as its governing body, involved in strategic planning and key administrative decisions, reported VN Express.

I saw the Vietnamese news article on this.  Appears to be consenting adults doing what adults do.  The only thing wrong with this is that the video was made and distributed.  Disgusting that someone would do that and I hope they go to jail for a very long time.
