Bluetooth Speakers For The Home

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I miss being able to play music easily in the home, and so am on the look-out for a single speaker system that I can use a USB stick & Bluetooth from my phone.

Have had a look in the usual electrical appliance centres and online. There are many to chose from & so is a little confusing.

Anyone made a fairly recent purchase and is happy with their choice. Been looking at this one in Tesco Lottttuuusssses https://www.lazada.co.th//products/i5860129836-s24968809314.html?spm=a2o42.cart.0.0.d6bd6108UiZKx4&urlFlag=true

Budget around 3-3.5 K baht. 🙂

Any inputs of experiences would be very much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Recently bought a JBL Flip 6.

Water and dustproof.

Sound quality amazing for such a  small speaker.

Pricey at 4k+ but well worth it to me.

Good luck with whatever you go for.

Beware of fakes online.

I used to think that the big names like Lazada and Shopee only sold the real things, but I was recently disabused of that mistaken notion.

@MisterTee

So true.

The big discount electronics dealers are the places to go.

In Chiang Mai, Siam T.V. has reasonable prices and excellent tech support.

Better to pay a little more and know what you're getting.

Love music, love bass, so was shocked to find a speaker at a friends house, a Bose copy called S2025.

Now, you have the S2025 and S2026 available on Lazada/Shopee for less than 500 baht!

Amazing sound for the price, bluetooth and also usb inputs, and battery lasts for half a day on full volume.

Party on bro!

Hope those Bose speakers last until New Year's Eve.

Next on the wish-list should be a 500 baht Rolex to go along with them and join in the countdown... 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 -  Happy New Millennium 2000!

Already have a 600 baht Patek Philippe, and if I scan it with google lens, it comes back with it's exact model, and a current price of 1,700,000 baht 55555555555

@CanadaSam

Thanks for the good-natured reply.

The usual response would have been snarky and Nasty.

No personal offense intended. I was just having a go at people in general who buy fake goods.

But hey, to each his own... TIT

The fake Marshall speakers on Lazada are amazing.

But not the battery life of originals.

Mine lasts 10-12hrs.

2,500 from Advice so may be the real deal.

Ditto on that.  I bought one too. Excellent product.  However, there are fake Marshalls and really fake Marshalls (Stockwell II).  Don't buy the latter.

And the JBL Charge 6 is even better but it's about 7,000 baht. Great sound for the money, and very portable.

Another vote for the Xiaomi L09 smart speaker above. Positives it's WiFi and so  doesn't drain your phone battery as opposed to Bluetooth speakers. A cheap Google premium account here includes YouTube music that integrates well with the speaker to give you access to the biggest music library online. The speaker has been tuned by DTS and gives good quality sound.

Agreed.

The sound quality of this line of JBL speakers is just wonderful.

The prices for the real deals are high, but my feeling is that it is a one-off expense, justified by the ongoing satisfaction of concert hall level sound.

JBL 6 series is about 100.00 dollars.  Good sound, even bass I use at the pool because it’s waterproof. Great for travel also.

The 5 series is 7,000 baht.  The 6 series is 100.00 on Lazada.

I am amazed with the sound of the tiny JBL Go series. Fits in my pocket and I can set it up wherever I'm at.  Cost around 3-4k.

For those who are interested 🙂 ............. I decided on the Xiaomi outdoor speaker. Cost was 1200 baht, 30 watt output, and addition speakers can be added.

Great sound, strong bass and easy to carry around. Bluetooth connectivity and looks great.

Many thanks for all advice given. 🙂
