    None of your business.   Eric.

  • The person who quoted you. Why not answer the posters question. What is the temperature where you are? Pretty simple question. Why are you evading it?

Good, boring keeps the riff-raff from invading the peace and quiet here.

I'm sure the Lampang locals, especially those working in tourism (if there are any), would be absolutely thrilled to hear you say that!

Better you ask the orderlies at that asylum where you are lodged at there in Blighty for some warmer blankets. It is winter after all. Though they likely never issued you a calendar so it is hard to blame you for not knowing that.

And yet you see these tourists still walking around wearing vests and flip flops..

They must be mad.

Eric.

Stating the bleeding obvious again Eric ,it's colder up here in the North ,than where

you are in Bangkok or Pattaya , so stop complaining , it's been cold drizzle for 2 days

none stop , no sun either ,so solar water heater not working ,so having to boil pans

of water to shower.

Can vary a lot, last week we had a drop to 22 overnight and they were reporting 18 in Bangkok, only 40 miles away.

last few days we have had 24/25 overnight, daytime from 28 to 35, depends on cloud level.

Once it gets below 20, time to look for a T shirt.

I am surprised that I, along with the other posters even reply to this Richard Cranium. But I like things concerned with the weather.

It's been 20-22 all day in Samoeng. Drizzling rain. It's a really rare pre-winter rain storm which is always a special treat but it certainly is gloomy.

18 in Bangkok from a rain storm? That's hard to believe. I didn't measure but it was probably only 19 where I am yesterday morning and it's 800km+ north of Bangkok and 500 meters elevation compared to sea level. The weather apps are unreliable in my experience. It's not 17 right now and it's not going to be 14 tomorrow.

Sorry man, but 15-20 degrees C is not freezing... it's what most of us would call a nice summer's day back in the EU etc. There's no such thing as cold here in Thailand, and they only have three seasons... which are rainy, mildly hot and very hot.
