A man allegedly stabbed his wife’s suspected lover inside a workers’ dormitory in Samut Prakan on 22 November, leaving the 46-year-old victim critically injured. Officers from Mueang Samut Prakan Police Station responded to the incident at a garbage collection workers’ housing block in Soi Bang Prong after receiving reports of a stabbing. Emergency responders found the victim, later identified as Mr. Phipop, unconscious with a stab wound to the centre of his chest before rushing him to Samut Prakan Hospital.

According to initial reports, the attack occurred while the victim was resting on his bed inside the room. The assailant, identified as Mr. Ek, allegedly entered the room and stabbed him before fleeing with the weapon. Police confirmed that the suspect is the husband of the woman with whom the victim had reportedly been involved.

Witness statements indicated that the stabbing followed repeated warnings from the suspect. Pong, a Cambodian worker who witnessed the aftermath, said he initially saw the victim already injured after returning from the bathroom and learned that the suspect had entered the room moments earlier. He added that the victim had continued to see the suspect’s wife despite several warnings, noting that the suspect had previously threatened to shoot him but had not acted due to the presence of many people.

Family members of the injured man also acknowledged the affair as the cause of the conflict. A 54-year-old relative said the victim had been advised several times to stop seeing the woman, who had not ended her relationship with her husband but continued visiting the victim daily. The relative added that the suspect had issued multiple warnings, sometimes with a firearm, though it was unclear whether it was real or fake and had told the victim during the last confrontation that he would “take action” if the affair did not end.

Sopiam News reported that police are continuing their investigation and are searching for the suspect, who remains at large. Authorities are gathering further statements from witnesses and family members to determine the full circumstances leading up to the stabbing.

Tho I don't advocate violence, why do the cuckholded husbands not stab the wife.... she is the one surely who knew she was married. Due to out DNA and lack of sense, men's reason often overridden by desire to spread our genes far and wide, among as many females as possible.
