A body was discovered inside a large bag at a high-rise apartment in Ho Chi Minh City, prompting a police investigation. Residents reported two suspicious men carrying a suitcase and a blue duffel bag on November 23. As the men fled, a strong odor was detected, leading to the grim discovery after they escaped by taxi.

This unsettling event emerged after the men were seen in the building on Nguyen Huu Canh Street. Their suspicious behavior and the foul smell raised alarms among residents who attempted to confront them. Fleeing from the scene, the men left behind a large bag containing a body, believed to be that of someone connected to the foreign nationals renting an apartment there.

Ho Chi Minh City police, in collaboration with Thanh My Tay Ward authorities, launched an investigation to determine the circumstances. They are trying to identify the victim and trace the suspects’ whereabouts. It is yet unclear if this case involves homicide, human trafficking, or a different criminal activity.

No further details have been disclosed by investigators as the case remains active. The discovery has deeply impacted the community, bringing safety concerns and uncertainty, reported VN Express.
