Yes, Trump and his maga cult are indeed a fascist movement

I've grown really tired of people overreacting to people telling the TRUTH about Trump and his maga cult of personality movement correctly calling it FASCIST. I get that it is triggering to many people, but it is the TRUTH and I can prove it with the voices of two very prominent public intellectuals.

I have in the past to avoid the predictable pushback tempered this by calling Trump an authoritarian. Not because I didn't know he was a fascist though. Because he is.

Yes, of course, you can disagree and think he is not a fascist. But no, you cannot legitimately ever tell anyone again that it is not legitimate and not well supported to assert the he and his mage cult movement are indeed  fascist.

So just stop that. It doesn't wash.

I consider Trump both a Fascist and a Marxist. A basic primer or the use of Marxist doctrine.

The most reactionary and far-right sectors of the capitalist class have teamed up to back a wannabe dictator who’s managed to assemble a mass movement of contradictory forces behind him — outright racists and misogynists along with millions of disaffected and confused members of the working class. It’s the classic formula for fascism.

But beyond the race hatred, the anti-immigrant hostility, the misogyny, and the homophobic/transphobic attacks, what else motivates significant blocs of voters to go over to the fascist side?

Georgi Dimitrov, one of the famed anti-fascist leaders of the 1930s, provided the beginnings of an answer:

“What is the source of the influence of fascism over the masses? Fascism is able to attract the masses because it demagogically appeals to their most urgent needs and demands. Fascism not only inflames prejudices that are deeply ingrained in the masses, but also plays upon the better sentiments of the masses, on their sense of justice and sometimes even on their revolutionary traditions. Fascism aims at the most unbridled exploitation of the masses but it approaches them with the most artful anti-capitalist demagogy, taking advantage of the deep hatred of the working people against the plundering bourgeoisie, the banks, the trusts, and financial magnates.”

Add to that the deep resentment that Trump supporters had toward law enforcement and the justice system, for going after their felonious master with such unbridled passion.

Nearly every 250 years an empire passes Into near obscurity. It truly feels like that is the moment for the US right now, it's been on the decline for at least three decades and nearly every policy that Trump enacts exacerbates the decline, and precipitates it quite dramatically.

Not only is he completely avoiding the level of transparency that he promised, with Elon Musk and the very silly DOGE as a great example of that, but he's going in the opposite direction. His is  becoming increasingly more of a Fascist type regime, with heavy dictatorial tendencies, the censoring of media and the oppression of higher education are just a couple of examples.

Anyone who's familiar with history knows that those are precursors to a very oppressive strongman type republic.

I think it's time to wake up this topic again.

The fact that Trump and his maga movement are indeed FASCIST has gained even more mainstream credibility, both in the U.S. and internationally.

You can't begin to solve a problem before you acknowledge it and name it.

No more equivocating.

Yes, It’s Fascism

Until recently, I thought it a term best avoided. But now, the resemblances are too many and too strong to deny.

Until recently, I resisted using the F-word to describe President Trump. For one thing, there were too many elements of classical fascism that didn’t seem to fit. For another, the term has been overused to the point of meaninglessness, especially by left-leaning types who call you a fascist if you oppose abortion or affirmative action. For yet another, the term is hazily defined, even by its adherents. From the beginning, fascism has been an incoherent doctrine, and even today scholars can’t agree on its definition. Italy’s original version differed from Germany’s, which differed from Spain’s, which differed from Japan’s.

The mainstream media is losing credibility.

Washington Post lost 100 million $ in 2024 because many people are tuning it out.

They put a spin on everything, to the point where most people are highly deluded.

Yeah, that's a good point.

So it's easy to see how people can make the association.

I wouldn't even use the word narcissistic though. He just has a very powerful personality.

He is classic narc. Makes out he is good and others are bad. Tariffs on tariffs off. The guy is full narc. All about control. Narcs befriend people who help them and make enemies with people that dont. Crooked Joe Biden is a phase only a narc would use. Attack the threat. Trump friends are amazing and his enemies are awful. Narcs view the world in black n white. It comes from being insecure and wanting control.

How many counties has Trump attacked this term?

"The Trump administration has carried out over 600 overseas strikes this year, spanning Africa, the Middle East and South America.

Data from the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) indicates US forces have executed or partnered in 622 air and drone strikes across seven countries in 2025.

I see no comparison. It is more like the 1970s. Gold and silver bubbles. Crisis in middle east.
