Epstein Files Loom As Polls Show Americans Suspect Trump

I guess the issue is that no Democrats are in power in US and don't hold the fate of millions of US citizens in their hands. Not to mention the rest of us on this planet who have interwoven their lives and security agreements with US. Trump is tearing this apart causing seismic upheaval worldwide so he is of course held up to scrutiny. Is this man fit for the very important office he holds?

Is any current world leader fit for the office they hold?

I can't think of one.

  • So funny to watch Trump and MAGAs, who have been pushing the Epstein file hoax for years, in order to smear Dems, having a taste of their own medecine! 🤣

  • The Source of the article is CNN. Its a spin on the fact that there is no evidence.

  • Show us your evidence of that....................🤫

I suspect nearly ALL world leaders have sex with underage kids.

It's what the New World Order is about.

I think you are correct I think most ex-presidents and most world leaders are likely morally depraved, including some of  our past presidents, however this discussion is about the current morally depraved occupant of the White House, and I think we should stay on point.

One of the stupidest comments to ever appear in asean

Well in reality most world leaders are likely morally depraved. I think you have to be morally depraved to even seek that office, but it's probably untrue that most of them like underaged women.

I think it's very true that Donald Trump liked underage women, and hopefully it will be proven at some point, but the man will likely be dead by then. But I am convinced his legacy is going to be horrific.

The Trump Administration blowing smoke up the nether-regions of the American public.  Of course, when the Democrats get into office between 2026 and 2028, they'll publish anything implicating Trump and other Right-leaning billionaires, millionaires and politicians while redacting those Left-leaning billionaires, millionaires, and politicians who are implicated in the Epstein files.

There is a reason DC is called The Swamp.

There was nothing to see in the Epstein files anyway......
Director of FBI says so!

Epstein Files Loom As Polls Show Americans Suspect Trump

As the release of further Jeffrey Epstein documents draws closer, new polling suggests President Donald Trump faces a serious political problem — not because of proven wrongdoing, but because a large majority of Americans believe he likely knew about Epstein’s alleged crimes.

The latest controversy follows House Democrats releasing new photographs from Epstein’s estate showing Trump alongside other powerful figures, including Bill Clinton, Steve Bannon and Richard Branson. None of the individuals pictured has been accused of criminal activity, and the images themselves add little factual detail. But the timing is combustible.

A Reuters–Ipsos poll shows just how sceptical the public has become. Asked whether Trump was not aware of Epstein’s alleged crimes before they became public, only 18% of Americans said that was likely. Sixty percent said it was “not too” or “not at all” likely — a three-to-one margin suggesting voters believe Trump knew something.

Even among Republicans, doubts are evident. More GOP voters believe Trump was probably aware of Epstein’s conduct (39%) than believe he was not (34%).

Other surveys paint an even darker picture. A Yahoo News–YouGov poll earlier this year found that 48% of Americans believed Trump had actually engaged in crimes with Epstein. Only 24% rejected that claim outright, with the rest unsure. Among Republicans, just 55% dismissed the allegation entirely, while 13% believed it and one-third remained neutral.

None of this constitutes evidence. Trump has not been charged or accused by law enforcement in connection with Epstein and has consistently denied wrongdoing. But the polling reveals something more politically damaging: a public primed to believe the worst.

That suspicion is not new. Even before Trump’s indictments, majorities of voters believed he had committed serious crimes, from the Ukraine pressure scandal to broader federal violations. For many Americans, the assumption that powerful figures bend or break the rules is already “baked in.”

What makes the Epstein issue especially toxic is Trump’s own handling of it. He has made contradictory statements about his relationship with Epstein, acknowledged knowing that Ghislaine Maxwell recruited a minor employee from Mar-a-Lago, and has struggled to clearly explain what he knew — and when.

There are also uncomfortable data points. Trump’s 2002 remark about Epstein liking women “on the younger side” has long resurfaced. More recently released Epstein emails include claims — unproven but politically potent — that Trump knew about Epstein’s interest in young girls. In one 2019 message, Epstein wrote: “Of course he knew about the girls.” In another email from 2011, Epstein referenced Trump in connection with Virginia Giuffre.

The White House has dismissed the document releases as a “Democrat hoax,” insisting the materials “prove absolutely nothing” and arguing the administration has done more for Epstein’s victims than its critics.

But with a Justice Department deadline looming to hand over further files to Congress, the numbers suggest the damage may already be done. Even absent a smoking gun, repeated mentions, images and innuendo risk reinforcing the perception that Trump had something to hide.

And in politics, perception often matters more than proof.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  1. Polls show most Americans believe Trump likely knew about Epstein’s crimes.

  2. Doubts persist even among Republican voters, despite no criminal charges.

  3. Upcoming document releases pose a real political risk for the president.

The Democrats have Trump on video at Walmart with 15 items in his cart in a 10-item checkout line. This could be it.

Jeffrey Epstein's properties, including his Manhattan townhouse and his private island (Little St. James), were extensively outfitted with surveillance cameras, and thousands of hours of video footage were reportedly recorded.

So where are the videos?

The US Justice Department released a limited, heavily redacted batch of Jeffrey Epstein files late on a Friday, a timing widely seen as an attempt to bury damaging information. Despite legal requirements to release all records, only a fraction appeared, with promises of a slow “rolling” release over the coming weeks. Notably, Donald Trump is absent from the released documents, despite reports he was previously told his name appears in the files, while Bill Clinton and other celebrities feature prominently in photos. Critics across Congress say the release fails to meet the law’s transparency requirements and accuse the administration of using delays, redactions and selective disclosures to deflect attention from Trump’s past ties to Epstein and let public interest fade.
