Really?  How is Trump "colluding with Russia in order to cheat or deceive"?   And talking isn't "collusion" which has nefarious connotations.

He has taken the side of Russia over Ukraine (and all of Europe) in the war.

He gets propaganda points both directly from Putin or sometimes via Witkoff.

If you don't see that, you are blind.

It's no different from if an American president had done the same thing with the Nazis.

Thankfully many Republicans are speaking out and condemning Trump's verbal vicious attack on the dead man.

The attack on Mr. Reiner, so soon after his death, prompted a rare backlash against the president from some MAGA-aligned Republicans, some of whom urged the president to retract his comments.

Mr. Trump’s attack brought immediate outrage, including from close allies who said the attack undercut Republicans’ calls for civility after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Prominent conservatives called for public shaming, firings and the threat of prosecution for those who spoke ill of Mr. Kirk.

“A man and his wife were murdered last night. This is NOT the appropriate response,” Jenna Ellis, Mr. Trump’s former lawyer who is now a conservative radio host, wrote on social media on Monday. “The Right uniformly condemned political and celebratory responses to Charlie Kirk’s death. This is a horrible example from Trump (and surprising considering the two attempts on his own life) and should be condemned by everyone with any decency.”

Representative Thomas Massie, Republican of Kentucky, wrote on social media that “regardless of how you felt about Rob Reiner, this is inappropriate and disrespectful discourse about a man who was just brutally murdered.” He added: “I guess my elected GOP colleagues, the VP, and White House staff will just ignore it because they’re afraid? I challenge anyone to defend it.”

or the 8 years after when JD Vance takes the reins in what will be a smooth transition of power

There's about a 0% chance of Vance ever being president, many within the Republican Party do not like him, and the man is in classic definition of an empty suit.

He has nothing to offer anybody. Except maybe tax breaks for very large corporations.

ok. so seriously,

Other than porous borders, tent cities, defunded police, safe asylum for foreign gangbanhers ,a disgraceful mismanagement of aid money, and a deluge of DEI and Trans rubbish. What exactly are the democrats offering anybody in the electorate ?   (sounds a bit monty python ish i know)  but  the answer of course is nothing

Their sole reason for existing, as far as I can see, seems to be only to hate Trump and to try to convince others to do the same, same goes for many on here too lol. Hoping for Trump to fail at everything  he does regardless of the consequences  either for innocent people in the case of wars, or even just in general  for themselves,is not a good look,  In the Uk its known as cutting ones nose off to spite ones face

Always Always  negative stuff,  never anything positive at all, ever!

Now whether it was true and sincere  or not, and regardless as to whether it was "racist" or whatever negative connotations the democrats try to taint it with,  at least Trump had something positive to say   with  "make america great again"   as a slogan it cannot , at face value, be criticised or disagreed with  without sounding stupid, who in their right mind would respond well  to "make america worse"

It was a much better battle cry than " don't vote for the nasty orange man" because if you do you're a nazi

And that's what won him the election Maybe Vance is an empty suit , but an empty suit delivering a positive vibe will  always "Trump" an empty suit filled only with negativity and worn out insults.

Lets be honest about it , the majority , in reality do not want their country infested with illegal immigrants  or their cities overrun with homeless druggies. The fact  that many are reluctant to say as much for fear of having "nazi" etc screamed at them may give a false impression

But when its time to vote people can express their feelings without fear of intimidation, as they did , and will do again, guaranteed

You have got to love the Trump for his ability to troll the left wing crazies. And the funny part is, the crazies just fall hook line and sinker for his bait. They just cannot help themselves. Its so funny to see them so worked up.

Trump laughing.jpg

Have you ever noticed that this man has absolutely no sense of humor, and the only time he laughs or smiles is when he is  insulting someone? That is a rather deep glimpse into the severe pathological deficiencies this man suffers from.

Abd now it seems that Trump was not content with his first post on "Truth Social", according to the BBC News website this morning here

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c7413d9xvkeo

he seems to have done it again.

I have no comment or explanation other than to quote from "Forrest Gump" the AI explanation

AI Overview
"Stupid is as stupid does" is a famous saying from Forrest Gump meaning a person is judged by their foolish actions, not their inherent intelligence or looks; it suggests that smart people can do dumb things, and true stupidity is revealed through behavior, not appearance or potential, a concept popularized by the film but rooted in older folk sayings.

But it isn't. It is simply less money for the middle class and the poor. And tax breaks for huge companies that are seeing big profits, and dodging most taxes anyway by parking most of their capital overseas. But, I guess when it comes to MAGA policy the little guy is simply of little importance.

Very true, and even more true when it comes to Trump. Another reason a billionaire should never be allowed to run for that office.

I doubt "they" would say anything when you (or me) die! 🤣

Fact check - false

Trump has an excellent sense of humor and uses comedic timing to great effect. He demonstates his humor well in this clip. Supposed comedians like Kimmel and Griffin would give their eye teeth for this natural ability. And the proof? Listen to the crowd ROAR in delight😅

Oh, okay, can you prove this? (refer to comment in bold). Please include the "insult" and the smile.

I am betting Trump smiled both times he won the election to become 45 and 47 and even laughing when he beat HRC.. He probably smiled and laughed (ROTF laugh) when he watched video of Biden imploding during Bidens career ending CNN debate. He probably smiles and laughs like the rest of the world at Biden and his gaffes of insanity and stupidity and at that oh so dumb women he trashed in 2024 election.

And they are correct in doing so. He stepped way, way over the line. And this was after his minion Petie threatened to lock people up for inappropriate remarks after the Kirk shooting. Guess that does not apply to Tariff Don.

The killing of Charlie Kirk seems to have been a clarifying moment in modern American politics, but not in the way conservatives initially envisioned. The right’s immediate condemnations of political violence, while insisting that the left is uniquely inclined toward political violence, were clearly meant more as a cudgel than any true expressions of principle. Wrapped in performative grief, the attempts to frame Donald Trump’s MAGA movement as guardians of moral order quickly gave way to infighting. Now, just three months later, the president himself has completely blown up the entire premise by suggesting that the brutal killing of an American icon was karmic justice for political dissent.

Such a grisly family murder of a prominent cultural and political figure is the kind of tragedy that would be expected to halt partisan politics, if only for a moment. And when news of Reiner’s death broke, prominent far-right voices rushed to express sympathy. Prominent influencer and conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec declared that “you won’t see people on the right celebrating” the Reiners’ murder, contrasting it with what he characterized as the left’s reaction to Kirk’s killing. It was less an expression of empathy than a preemptive alibi.

Trump apparently didn’t get the message. What is new is not the president’s behavior, but the cracks forming around him.

Step one: Insist MAGA would never celebrate a death.

Step two: Dismiss criticism of Trump as liberal hysteria.

Step three: Concede that Trump said it, but insist it was righteously provoked.

Step four: Argue that Reiner deserved it anyway because he criticized the president.

Now that Trump’s aura of inevitability is gone, the message discipline that made MAGA magic is waning — and yet the president himself is oblivious to this shift. Or worse, he is incapable of changing course.

Even his haters grudgingly admit it: when he’s on stage riffing, he’s basically doing stadium-level stand-up that would sell out Madison Square Garden. The 2024 campaign clips of him mocking Biden’s stutter (“Where’s… where’s… where am I?”) or doing his impression of Macron (“Emmanuel… so handsome… so perfect”) were brutal and hilarious at the same time.Love him or hate him, the comedic timing is elite. It’s a huge part of why he’s still the dominant force in Republican politics in 2025.

Trump’s sense of humor is one of his most powerful political weapons, and it’s a big reason he dominates rooms and rallies.

I recall this brutal one-liner, when Trump pauses just long enough for the crowd to register it, then hit the punchline. Classic example: at a 2024 rally when he said “Kamala spent the entire campaign talking about January 6th… and then she forgot to show up on January 20th.” The pause before “January 20th” (Inauguration Day) sent the crowd into hysterics.

Well, he's still ridiculously whining about the 2020 election! 🤣

Comparisons have been made with the death of Charlie kirk,   the leftists were in over drive celebrating that   tik tok and face book were close to meltdown.    Trump may have spoken out of turn / impolitely but where are the hoards of "maga" supporters celebrating this guys death?

Trump does indeed have a sense of humour very few of the left , if any, are qualified to comment, as without exception they are as amusing as a trip to a hospice,  Its a basic qualification for them , after all if somebody is laughing, then someone somewhere is probably "offended"  and that would never do ,would it?   The left do not do humour, end of !

Just what we want in a president -- being a great TROLL

U prefer a troll with a brain, razor sharp wit or a demented, severely corrupted fool who can't read a teleprompter when /if he can find his way on a stage and cannot speak coherently after muttering and rambling about nothing AND who forgot to secure the border creating the current immigration/illegal alien crisis AND spends 40% of his term on the beach while the autopen admin was at work destroying America. I'll take the troll, the dude with a functioning brain and is a patriot unlike Biden and all democrats who hate America and would prefer Trump to fail rather than see America prosper under him.

'It's going to be a really good speech': Trump to address nation from White House

https://www.wnd.com/2025/12/its-going-be-really-good-speech-trump-address/

Stay tuned to  the TV on Wednesday night as President Trump will once again make a great speech to the nation. Maybe he will address why he thinks "Meathead" was killed by his son and what a dysfunctional family Meathead had.

it was not intended as any sort of equivalence , just an observation, I was not talking about "leaders" the leftists in the US have no leader really, do they?  I was commenting on the behaviour of their supporters
