Bought  skid plate from Outlander via Lazada  problem is it seems too substantial /heavy appears to be made for off roading protection. The reason I bought it is to prevent my dog from chewing the wires Anyone know of a lighter option?  Thanks 

Sounds like you built a tank to fight a puppy! Check out aftermarket ABS plastic guards. They weigh nothing compared to a steel skid plate. Alternatively, you could just add some heavy-duty wire loom — it’s much easier on your fuel economy than carrying 20kg of steel
