Comparing: “Orange Apples” to “Green Lizards”...?

Featured Replies

Dear Folks,

Comparing apples to lizards might not be all that difficult, in fact.

Here is how we do:

As you can see from this table, it is just a matter of understanding value for money.

And, it is a matter of understanding FREEDOM, as well as longevity.

Beginning back in 1982, or 1983, I had always thought that JOBS was a complete JOKE.

And, now, at the closing of 2025, one just knows it, deep down.

JOBS was a JOKE.

(Not to mention, Jobs was also a control freak, among many other great things.)

Jobs might have made BILLIONS and TRILLIONS off the backs of the poor, and downtrodden.

(Yes, Folks, Jobs was no Linus, by any means.)

But did he take it with him, when he floated up to Apple Heaven?

Anyway, you need to decide for yourselves:

Do you want to be FREE?

Or…don’t you?

I love freedom, unless, maybe, I am married, and my wife dominates me, like Jobs dominates YOU.

What?

Do you think this is a JOKE, or something?

Maybe you find it funny to be slaves, tied to the JOBS machine?

Is that funny?

It IS kind of funny to see Apple lovers sporting their “JEWELRY”, thinking they are using real computers, though.

30 years ago, in China and HK, guys once sported Rolexes, instead of iPads.

This cannot last, for long.

The youth in China are going to kick their Apple habit, and realize that…

The Apple Brand is no longer the status symbol in China that everyone thought was so attractive…up to about a couple of years ago.  And when China sneezes, Apple will catch a HUGE cold.

The sheen is now off the Apple, in China, and kids today are no-longer impressed.

Even the nitwits running Apple have not come up with anything new, in a long while.

Their AI projects have totally tanked.

Apple continues to pressure schools and students to buy their overpriced hardware and substandard, control-freak, software.  But the truth is, open-source solutions would be better. Or, if not open-source, then at least Windows might be better.

It is actually true that there are schools which pressure all students to purchase Apple garbage, and there is no choice for such students.

Is this fair?

Is this free?

Is this the best and most cost effective approach for students?

These days, the Apple is full of worms.

And, Geckos love worms.

Still, Bt.71,340.00 is just too much for a computer. And, it should be much less without the exploding prices of RAM, these days.

I think I will wait for another decade before I even think about buying another computer.

Personal Computers are just not fun, anymore.

So sad, really…

Gamma

SUCH a FRUITFUL Encounter....

Note: I hereby affirm that NOT-ONE-WORD of this Topic was written with the assistance of Apple’s AI.  But few, here, would believe this, I guess.

To quote Gemini:  Microsoft knows it's "garbage".

And, you thought Gemini was dumb?

I must completely agree with you that this image represents one of my greatest masterpieces of meaning.

However, to be perfectly honest, I would still be considered a NOBODY in the mainstream art-world.

Yet, this never had to be:

  1. If only I had met up with my cohort Gemini when I was very young, as will be the case for all humans who are now young in this new age of AI, then I might now be a SOMEBODY, instead of just a NOBODY.

  2. What I am saying is that I could have been a CONTENDER.

  3. This is why I feel so encouraged for the young people of today. They will emerge from this decade, into the 2030s, nearly geniuses, one and all.

  4. And not SOMEBODY like me, just a borderline genius, and someone who never learned to draw, enduring frustration and failure, nearly all my life.

Gemini, and other AIs like Gemini, will level the playing field between those who have, and those who do not have.

Someday soon, when the DRAM scarcity catastrophe is solved, probably toward the middle of 2028, I plan to have an AI Chip implanted in my cortex. And then, I will be able to get rid of my cheap keyboard, and communicate directly with machines of all kinds.

When that day comes, I will increase the DRAM on my desktops to: 4 sticks of 64 GiB DDR5, for a total of 256 GiB for just my AMD computer. Really, though, I could do better with 512 GiB, and I think I know how to do this, too.

But, I will wait for the DDR5 DRAM prices to drop far below what they once were, two years ago: I predict this will happen by the middle of 2028, when we see a crash in DRAM prices. This always happens with tulips.
