Tourists Told to Remove Overnight Tents From Pattaya Beach

Yes Sir, I thought it through.

Save on hotel fees. Have more money to spend supporting local food venders and the like.

Authorities need to prioritise their work.

So... we end up with 1000's of homeless on the beach (with no money - thats why they are homeless)

Nowhere to wash, no toilet facilities and you think this will 'support' the local economy as tourist slip away due to the beaches being full of dirt and poop ???

I am really starting to suspect that as soon as 'anything' involves an authority or official information or response of sorts, you are automatically against it - because logic can't be your reasoning as you clearly do not have any at all.

Jeez! Have the authorities nothing better to do? A couple of visitors in a tent. While the locals chuck rubbish everywhere.

It'll be the cheap Charlie Indians dodging hotel prices and holidaying on the cheap... probably got rice cookers and camping gas stoves with them too so that restaurants are obselete as well.

I suspect you are correct. If it was foreign tourists it’s 100% certain to have been made clear in the story. I suspect tourists are domestic and so no real issue was made of their nationality.

Yuck. Where are the toilets and showers?

You likely know already!

Are those the "quality" woke leftist western backpackers again ? Of course not...what would they be doing in Pattaya ?

How on earth did you discern their political and social views (woke leftist) from them putting up a tent on the beach?

Wipe the froth from your chin...

So what's wrong in that? Thrifty I'd call it.

Tight and cheap i would say 🤷🏼

I am glad that Thailand has rules for no over night camping. There are some vacent lots that can

be camped in, you just have to contend with all the critters that will invade your tent in the night.

Problem solved, thank you.
