Cost of an attorney for handling citizenship

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I am going to apply for Thai citizenship this year.
Does anybody have any idea what an attorney in Thailand will charge for this?

Why would you need an attorney, if you meet the qualifications ?

If you meet the requirements you certainly don't need any lawyer, attorney or solicitor to muddy the water.

I'd say go to the Thai Citizenship Facebook group and their companion website. Post in there with your questions and that should get you pointed in the right direction.

I have always used my attorney in BKK for important stuff for 12 years, and he has never let me down

Yet to use an attorney in TH, simply not needed for me/us, for any interactions with relationships, Imm, land office, wills. Nothing I can't do myself ... so far.

Whatever works, or what you feel comfortable with. Never needed one in TH.

Crikey, sounds expensive. 💲💲💲

I've heard guys taking 10 years to obtain.

Hope you have plenty of money.

So why not just ask him..why ask us.

Then your question here is even more baffling. Surely your trusted attorney of 12 years can either do it or refer you to an equally trusted colleague with expertise in this field.

Im a bit confused. You asked about an attorney for applying for thai citizenship and when its pointed out you dont need one you claim you have one that you used for 12 years. If you have one then why are you asking for one?

Waiting for someone to ask what attorney he uses, so he can plug his (possibly self) to avoid advertising cost coffee1
