Applying for a METV

Featured Replies

Given the threats of problems with visa exempt I thought I would apply for a multi entry tourist visa. Now I am not at the stage of booking the flight as once I do that the clock is ticking. So I have been building up an application bit by bit. The final hurdle being the flight confirmation. Prior to that there was the issue of three months bank statements but only be able to submit one file. Got round that using pdf merging tool but then the file exceeds 4Mb. Got round that by just scanning the relevant pages of the statements, merging them to one file and now less that 2 Mb. Wonderful except every b100dy time I log into the saved visa application I get a 500 error message server error. To say I am p155ed off with this planned trip to Thailand is an understatement. No wonder the tourist numbers are down. Just too much damned hassle.

Any ideas? Can I just delete the whole application and start from fresh. This is just purgatory applying for a visa.

Just tried setting up a new account on a different email address. Enter the new email, password, enter the security question, hit the create account button, nothing happens. What a load of rubbish.

How long do you wish to visit Thailand.

Also age and pp country?

There are current reports of successful METV eVisa. And yes flight details required.
