I will be needing a new British Passport soon, as my current P/P is nearly full. Living in Thailand on Retirement Visa, I do not want to have to return to UK if this can be avoided.

Can any kind person give me brief guidance as to how/where to do this, and how long it might take.

I have to b in BKK next week and hope to do this then.

Is it easy to have a valid Retirement visa transferred to the new passport.

1. Download and then complete the application form

2. Get your photos taken and counter-signed if your appearance has changed

3. Get the additional supporting documentation, if required

4. Photocopy every single page of your expiring passport in colour.

5. Make an appointment (via email) to submit the application at VFS in Bangkok or Chiang Mai.
